Sweet that's what I was hoping for. I just wasn't sure if I could spray it freely onto the rims and not worry about overspray getting onto anything back there that it's not supposed to be on.

I plastidipped my rims awhile back. I maintain that perfect black look with either In & out spray or VRT, my question is - Do I need to cover up my brakes etc with a plastic bag when I'm spraying the In & out spray on the rims? I cover them up when I use Brake Dust cleaners (BDP being one of them).

I may peel the plastidip off and just polish it. Wish I knew that before I dipped it! It looked exactly like the grey in the pic. I have waterless wash it's been raining so haven't tried it yet. It's just caked on there because the rain does nothing to it. Do you have a write up on what you did for that spoiler?

Yeah it works as advertised with a good hose. If I let it go too long two rounds of spraying does the trick. The spoiler is a very rough surface so the microfiber towels get caught extremely easy to where it's close to impossible to wipe down. Will the all purpose soaking for 30 seconds work with a strong hose be worth trying to knock down the dirt?

I have a 2006 Daytona charger. Dipped the wheels and refreshed the faded spoiler/front chin spoiler with dip. It looks great but the spoiler is accumulating a lot of dirt - what is the best way to clean it and get the dirt off before I apply the VRT specifically for the spoiler? 

My plasti dip rim routine I had used their own brake dust cleaner BDP I think it's called and then followed with the VRT and it looks fantastic. I'm out of the BDP and VRT and will be ordering tomorrow. Does Adam's have a product similar to BDP to clean the rims before I apply the VRT?

Thanks, they are matte black. I'll post some pics when I get back into town so you can see what we are dealing with! They've been there for over a year at least.

I asked a local detailing shop and they didn't want to touch it for fear of messing up the entire decal. Props for them being honest instead of having a cluster**** to deal with after a bad job. I have adam's super VRT for maintaining it but still unable to get the waterspots out, these are nasty ones fyi from sprinklers a long time ago. It's a bit faded in general still even with the VRT due to so many years in the sun.

Any ideas?

Seemed to start the process of getting it back to color on both spoilers. Need to try some VRT or something else to get it fully back to color. What's the reasoning for not letting it dry on the car?

Can I use the all purpose cleaner and follow with the quick sealant on something like the spoiler? As well as front lip spoiler?

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I saw that thread and checked out the video. Judging by the pictures I posted, I was asking what the best method was to handle something that faded.

I recently bought the detail spray/all purpose cleaner and quick sealant from adam's. Going to try and upload pics of what I'm working with (hopefully they work). I have an 06 mango daytona and my hemi hood decal is faded grey as well as my front chin spoiler/rear spoiler. The weather striping around the car is also faded and the plastic near the windshield wipers.

My question is - what is the process for applying the quick sealant and will it work on something this far gone? If not, what's the next step?

There are also waterspots on the hood as well as the hood decal from sprinklers a long time ago.

I saw the stickies and will read through them again, although those decals in the video are in much better shape than mine.
