Hello
I'm looking for a detailer in the Tampa Bay FL area, specifically Plant City, that uses Adams products. I have a 1 year old Ford Explorer that I just picked up used and would like to get it protected. I have used Adams for years but just don't have the time to do all the steps and do them right.
Thanks

I'm finally getting started today. I know I should use my porter cable for the polishing but is by hand better or worse for the seal glaze and wax?
Seems like the power would be overkill
Thanks

Well I found on the shelf a half full bottle of FINE MACHINE POLISH. I'm sure the new PAINT FINISHING POLOSH is a newer improved formula but any suggestions as to wheteher it would hurt to save the money and use the FINE MACHINE POLISH I still have?
Thanks

Thanks everyone. I think I'm close:
Wash
Clay
Paint Finishing Polish - White Pad
Buttery wax - Black pad
Sealent - Black Pad
Brillaint Glaze - Red Pad
Look like a good plan?

Thanks everyone for the advice. My shopping cart runneth over
Chris - It's a burgundy reddish color that enjoys a garage most of the time.

Hello
I have been an Adam's fan and user for years. I'm familiar and comfortable with restoring a older finish but struggling to get things in order for my 3 month old 2014 Ford Escape.
For machine polishing I currently own an orange, white and blue pad.
To start wash and clay bar with detail spray I'm familiar with but after that I'm not sure how to proceed on relatively new factory finish paint.
I assume it is some combination of Polish - seal - wax.
I'm hoping to get guidance on:
What product
What order
Which Pad to use with which product.
Thanks for an education

Does a Hand Application Still Work Good?
in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Posted
I have used Adams Products with the power polisher application method with great success. My new daily driver is a 5 month old Jeep Wrangler. There is not much paint area and ALOT of adjoining trim on the Wrangler vehicles. I can remove some of it for a detail and tape off others but I'm considering doing the detail by hand to contain the product better.
I'm looking for opinions as to whether I can get as good of a shine and protection with a hand application. I'm not looking for a show car shine but I do like the pop and I like the protection Adams product has given me in the past.
The vehicle was manufactured in April of this year so paint is about 6 months old with 5 months of that daily driving.
I plan to:
