  1. Hello :]

Found out about Adam's products from Instagram of all places.  Interested in learning more about the products and how to jump into washing and detailing my car the right way!

Yo whats up Jonathan! I live in Los Angeles as well and have a collection of adams products! if you want to give some a try or need some advice on what to get feel free to contact me !

  2. Well i had some free time this weekend and bonded with my 14 evo x!

I washed with adams shampoo (Old), then dried it off in the shade, shortly after i started to clay with adams claybar and detail spray! Dried up the remains from the clay and finally applied Adams Buttery Wax with my Torq 10Fx from chemical guys (Couldn't Afford a Rupes) and Adams finishing pad!

And these are the results! sorry i didn't take many pics!

My next project will be the chevy! My uncle asked me to do a paint correction to remove the swirls on his truck! Also as soon as the bottom end goes into the Fastback ill be doing a paint correction on that one as well!

    Hope you all like

  3. Well Im looking to do a full detail of the exterior and im wanting to know what products should I purchase? Not looking to spend too much in products but definitely want the get the job done the best I can.

    Hey there!

It really depends what you consider a "Full Detail" and what your goals are! really all you need is wash/clay and either wax or sealant. Just purchase items little by little as i did, and soon you will have a collection!

  4. a detail and paint correction in 2 hours? that is blazing fast! I don't think I've ever done a stage 1 paint correction for less that $300 which is about 5-6 hours of work.

Oh no i was talking about a wash/clay/wax not a paint correction! thats madness! if anyone has tips on how to do a paint correction in 2 hours feel free to chime in tho! haha

I'd say $100 if he is a good friend but that's just me. It takes me about 12 hours to do the whole thing so I'm not doing this for free. For most of us doing this very occasionally for money, the money is most often used to buy more products.

yeah i'm not looking to go all out! hes just a buddy and it isn't an actual "job", but ill make sure he helps out!

The only person I charge from my family is my Mom. She told me Santa wasn't real, so she has to pay full price.

I'm kidding of course. She actually just leaves one of her cars with me for a week or so and it comes back clean for free.

Depending on how good of a friend it is I will make them run one of the buffers and pay for product, food for the day, and beer that night/during the detail.

Otherwise they get my normal rate and a bit of a discount off of it. Sometimes it isn't worth discounting your work if they wouldn't have appreciation for it.

lmao same with my mom! only time she lets me borrow her SUV to do jobs is when she needs it washed as well.. can't show up and detail a car in a dirty car lol.

  5. Hey whats up all! first let me say sorry for the million dollar question that everyone asks. but i really have no clue on how much to charge on these 2 details!

First a buddy of mine seen how i detailed my 2014 Evo X and he would like me to do a paint correction on his 2013 World Rally Blue Subaru WRX STI. My evo took me about 2 hours to do a 2 bucket wash/clay/wax Full interior detail..

He just wants his swirls and water marks removed. (says he doesn't want it flawless)

Second my Sister just purchased a 2015 Ford Explorer and wants me to wash/clay/wax and seal it! I was thinking of just charging her for the product since she is my sister.

Any input would help! thank you all for the responses and time to read my post!

    Sincerely Angel

  6. I agree with the previous posts. Any pictures of the car? A guy at the gym that I go to just traded a 14 Mustang GT in on a new Evo. He plans on modding it.

i have them all on my phone. not great quality. soon ill be buying a DSLR and ill make sure to post some pics! if not feel free to follow me on instagram if you have one. i have plenty of pics there @threehunnastunta

How do you like your Evo?  I was actually looking at them too.  White ones are my favorite just like yours :)

the evo is awesome! i've had it for these past 6 months and have added a downpipe/testpipe/cat back exhaust system/intake/electronic boost controller and a pro tune! its running like a champ atm. putting down 330awhp 351tq on mustang dyno!

if you get one make sure u get it used if not a brand new one (2014 with recaros) will cost you about 50k! i went to the dealer to pick up some window visors and the 2014's had a 12k mark up over the 39k price tag!

Dylan beat me to my response, but I was also going to suggest Liquid Paint Sealant on white, silver, light gray and other light colors.  It gives a fantastic look to my white diamond Regal GS as well as a few other white cars I've detailed for customers.  Here's a quick shot of Liquid Paint Sealant, Brilliant Glaze, and Patriot Wax on my GS.  I think the paint has some decent depth and great reflective properties as Dylan mentioned :2thumbs:

Looks Awesome! i think im going to give this a try! tomorrow ill call adams and have them throw in brilliant glaze and liquid paint sealant to my order before it gets shipped out! (Mystery Boxes)

Agreed. LPS, BG, and Americana. The color of my car is Mineral White, which has some metallic flake. Shines up nicely.

haha love your beamer! is it a 335i?? and looks great i'm considering getting a m3 in the future.. just dont like the price tag on them atm

  7. Hi all first post like to check in Lu(ky.. Just bought a new 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ and after taking it to my local car wash and saw what they did to it with greasy hands on inside driver side roof (tan interior  )and greasy tire dressing all over my car. I had enough and started to search google and youtube and found Adam's products and video's. So far I really like what I see and purchased some stuff this morning looking forward to fixing my local car wash mesh. And do it the correct way and I also showed my co-workers which are huge car fans and keep them in top shape and they are also going to check out Adam's Video's

Anyways looking forward my purchase to arrive so I can start having some fun..  :)

This should hold me over for a while

Welcome to the forums! im a long time lurker here but i've had a adams collection for some time now! your local to me! any questions or help feel free to pm me

  8. White isn't easy, and it's never going to get that "wet" look that dark colors do.  I hand care for my car with Revive, Brilliant Glaze, and Americana.  Takes some time and it looks pretty good.  You can see some of the shine in my sig.

Awesome I guess i need to add some more items to my Adams collection! i think its about time i use some revive and brilliant glaze. California is nice out right now so i suppose it will get that extra shine with this sunlight

  9. Whats up All. About 6 months ago i purchased a 2014 Wicked White Lancer Evolution X. Previously I Owned a 2005 Acura Tl Aspec (Charcoal Grey). Upon driving my car home i washed/clayed/ and then used buttery wax! it has been looking great so far, but i've come to realize that white paint doesn't pop as much as my Acura's dark gray did. Ss there something i can do to make my new car super shiny the way i had my Acura?? (I have driven 5,000 miles these past 6 months) and i feel its time for me to re clay and wax it, thats why i ask.

Thanks for the responds and help ahead of time.

  10. Hello Everyone

We'll i've been lurking here on the forums for some time now. This past monday I finally made a major purchase and got all the basics! I was so excited to come home to a box full of goodies, as i was ready to detail my New 2014 Lancer Evo X and post some pictures!

Unfortunately Adams shipped me the wrong order! It turns out they shipped me "Ryan Perry's" order! not sure if hes a member here on the forums or not.

The order that I purchased only cost me about $150 +/- and the order he paid for cost about $580 which included a Cyclo Model 5 Pro Polisher and some other goodies. We'll me being the good person i am i called Adams and spoke to I believe it was Benjamin and explained the situation to him. He said somewhere along the line they must have switched the Shipping Stickers. So now Fedex should be coming tomorrow to pick up this box and return it to its rightful owner as i shall be recieving mine too (I Hope).

I was raised with morals and understand that there is more to life then material objects; as they are all replacable. Ben said he would ship me a mystery box for calling and telling him i received the wrong order (instead of keeping it), he couldn't thank me enough and said if i ever needed anything else to feel free to call them and they would take care of me as i have taken care of them!

So now the wait continues and im still looking foward to receiving my purchase to get this detail started! I'm not sure if this has happened to any of you but if it has i want to hear about it!

    Sincerely Angel Espino

  11. Hello everyone,

My name is Angel and I live in LA.i just recently paid off my 2005 acura TL and decided to give it to my parents as an extra car and get myself into something new. i purchased a 2014 Lancer Evolution GSR (Wicked White) with Sight and sound package a few days ago.

I've been following adams polishes on instagram for while now and about a week or two ago when i seen the mystery box i had to grab one. needless to say i just ordered $150 worth of supplies and im looking foward to detailing my car and get it looking great! i would always wash my Acura at those coin washes and it was scratched on multiple occasions. So as a fresh start i want to try out Adams products and see how they treat me, or i should say my car.

Ill post pictures as soon as my products get here. I think at the time i will figure out what i forgot to order and just go from there. With that being said i've watched a vast amount of videos here and on youtube and been lurking the forums for a month now. i hope to learn to new things and make some new friends.

    Thanks Everyone
