Nice job. Love the befores and afters.
Thanks man, here's a few more.
That's it, but you get the idea. It took 3 - 3 day weekends just to get the car to point where I could start with Adam's products.
Thanks again for all the comments. He was a diamond in the rough as you can see.
-
For some reason, I'm not getting notifications of all the responses you folks have made. Thank you very much, I appreciate them and can tell you if it wasn't for Adam and his products, the car may not look as it does.

Sorry it's taken so long to post. I don't have any before shots that would show the extent of what the paint was like. All I can say is it was water spotted very badly. The whole car needed attention.
Here's a couple of before and afters of the suspension to give you an idea though.
Rear Suspension - Before & Afters
Front Suspension - Before & Afters

Thanks for the comments. I'll look and see if I have some before and post up tomorrow if so. Adam saw it though, he can attest to the spots for sure. He even worked a little magic on it when he visited.

Here's a couple shots of our 1991 ZR-1 Corvette. It was badly water spotted when I first got it and thought I'd have to color sand it to get them out. Full treatment with Adams products worked miracles though as you can see.
(P.S. Car might be up for sale soon)

Sweet, thanks Dylan.

Just a quick question. Is there a difference between the Machne Superwax and the Machine Super Sealant? They look the same colorwise anyway.
Thanks

Car is sold, Thanks for all your comments.

Money down received. So, unless the buyer really doesn't like the car, it's a done deal. I can tell you, this is a really nice car and this guys getting a hell of deal.
Thanks again for the comments.

John how did you get some? Did Adam go driving through Boise without me knowing? LOL
He visited family over Xmas and found a couple hours to drop by my place. He's a great guy and we had a great time chatting. (Yes he did leave a sample of the paste wax here)
-
Thanks, and for about $40 less than the Pinnacle, you will prefer the performance of our Americana.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
Adam,
Is the wax you left me? I have used some of that now and it is really easy to put on and take off. My car is shining like crazy and I am starting to see the results. Am in the process of finishing the car, should be done soon and I'll post a pic or two when it's done.

Like Jason said....the big bootys on the C5 and C6 are dust and dirt collectors:willy:
Speaking of Big Bootys!!!

Asking price lowered to $19,990 and miles are now 72,0XX.
-
Thanks for the comments everyone. As Adam mentioned, it's a nice car and runs fantastic.
-
Your rotator cuffs better be in good working order though.
-
Wow, seriously?? That's crazy! Still, impossible to get that much car for less than $200K elsewhere!
Deal of a lifetime was on Barrett-Jackson in January. A 2009 ZR1 and a 1990 ZR-1 both for $101,500. They sold Saturday. The new ZR1 is an animal to say the least.
Nice job on the car, did you get to drive it?
-
These are awesome cars and you're right about the 200 grand Adam, but like most cars these will depreciate over time and will go down in cost as newer, better ones replace these. The only exception I could see if for some reason the government steps in and makes the auto makers STOP producing these type of cars altogether. In that case these will skyrocket in value but then would they become to 'valuable' to drive?
Case in point there is a 91 ZR1 for sale on Corvette Forum, low miles, nice 2 owner car for $20,000. If I remember he showed a picture of the window sticker of $64,000. It's really no less of a car then what it was back in 91. If I was not paying on my 01 ZO6 this car would be in my garage!
Back to the original post, I LOVE that color and you've done a great job of detailing it. Thanks for posting. BTW did you get to drive it anywhere?
Later,
There's a '91 ZR-1 for sale on this forum too. They might be one and the same. Sticker was $65,583 on the '91's.

Just make sure when you put the http://www.usedcorvettesforsale.com/1991-corvette-28690.html in you add it as a link and make the font bigger so people will see it

Super clean
How many miles?
71,885, only about 180,000 left before it needs a rebuild, nyuck, nyuck.
Thanks for the inquiry.

Looks like it's working!
Close enough. For some reason the link doesn't work and when I try to make it one it won't allow the edit.
