I don like them and I am saving the other style tops to replace them. Much easier to turn the bottle over and squirt some stuff on a machine pad than using the pump.

Thanks for this thread I got a lot of new towels and want to wash ones with the same type of use together and separate stuff like glass and drying towels from ones used with wax and harder stuff.

That's actually amazing how you set up that cart. It boggles my mind why they are always so much money.

I am a beginner to the machine and polishing. You can do it with out messing things up. I am literally working on my stuff for the first time with paint correction thru sealant. You WILL do a better job doing it yourself. Its amazing to see results and I am really happy with all the help from this form and the how to videos adams youtube channel offers.

As long as they aren't deep to were your finger nail catches in them they should come out. Just be careful on any edges , plastics and bumper covers........

Yeah I have my hood with CAI that is made from plastic I believe. I am gonna be extra careful there. There is one perfect little circle that got into the clear coat from bird poop I found on it after a show after baking for a few hours. Not sure if that will come out but you really cant see it. The picture of the scratch above I was able to reduce by 2/3's and yeah I can catch my nail on part of it so I am thinking that's it. But is only about 1/4 inch now. A little black wax should fill that in.

But we car guys, that often visit shows, see the details differently. I have everything but the 4" MF cutting pads which I just ordered. Not sure why I over looked those when I ordered all the foam colors.

I wouldn't wetsand that scratch out without having a paint thickness gauge. Typical amount of clearcoat is around 50 microns, I wouldn't want to go much past 15 removed before compounding.

Yeah wet sanding scares me and def not going to make my baby the test car.

If the water spots aren't too bad the 4" Focus pads may work......

Thanks Chris. I am ordering the orange MF 4" cutting today. I have the foam already. The scratch is 2/3 gone right now but three hours on the trunk so far. I wish it was quicker. Maybe the focus pads on the bad spots. These water spots, I call them, I have no idea where they came from. I dont remember the car looking that bad back in November and it sat in the garage most the winter..Some of it looks like paint imperfections but I don't remember them when I was doing the car by hand. The only thing I can think of one of the times it got caught in a shower and was parked, maybe what ever dust was on there baked in when the sun came back out. I just don't know how far I can go with out messing it up.

Those would be RIDS (random isolated deeper scratches). Live with them, or try your hand at wet sanding, or rotary buffing with 4" pads and the drill

Thanks I am going to work on that next.  Black box had filled that in before and then some sealer I think. The water spots that look like an acid rain or something are coming out but that's been the last hour on a 1/3 of the deck lid top speed on the HF polisher with orange MF and correcting polish. A lot of pressure on it too. Lookin sick actually just lot of work. The trunk is even getting warm. Some of them now just look like a little imperfection but soo much better than before. I just never imagined it will take that long.

It all started a month or so ago when I noticed some water spots developing on my car. It is a fair weather car only and I sought out a machine and got all the pads and products from Adams. A machine was the only way to go I was told. I really take care of it and unless it dripped from the cracks or got caught in a shower the car was free of water sitting on it.  I clayed it with the Nanoskin fine 6" disc, then used auto correcting polish, first with the non mf 6" disc then that was not doing the job so I went to the mf disc and I still cant get them out. Its almost like they are etched in the clearcoat. I have a scratch that from some of the posts and videos I seen should come out. Am I not going slow enough or what am I doing wrong. I marked the discs and rotate about every second and go over an area 4 times. Here are some pictures. I polished it and sealed it and it looks great except the spots and scratch. Smooth as heck but I can feel the scratch and some of the water spots. Should I even mess with it? I don't want to mess up the car.

Dealing with black cars I wash and quickly back in the garage to dry off and detail.  The pollen is really bad in my area this year. My truck was spotless when I arrived at work..when I got out it was trashed by pollen and a quick sprinkle. I hate it.

Local Adams dealer at a car show. First product ever purchased.. In & out spray. I won a $100.00 package at one of these shows and liked the stuff.  Its lead me to have just about 75% of their products. Some gallons.
