  1. Jeff , when you get through with that one , you should be in good practice and are cordially invited to come over and do my 53' trailer, (black ) . smooth side , NO rivets . No in bad condition , should be able to do in one afternoon .

Mike, if you were closer i MAY think about it.....ill take some pics when i start it next week....smooth side would be a breeze !!:D

  2. After looking at mine today I think Im going to do each panel as much as I can with the 7.5 pads, then use the 4" pads to do the rest.

with the 4" pads, is there an adapter to go on the porter cable or do they only fit on a cordless screw gun ?

if they do go on a PC, then ill hit all the big areas with the 7.5" pads and the 4'' for in between the screw heads..........

and yes that is a huge trailer. even bigger when standing next to it..........

    wish me luck !!!

    and thanks everyone....:2thumbs:

  3. i have a guy that wants his enclosed trailer polished. its black and in dire need of SHR and polish. my question is, will the screw heads on the side of the trailer tear up the pads and will the SHR/polish take the cadium plating off the screw heads ? he said he had heard that happened before. anyone ever do this ? THANKS

  4. well thanks to Jason for making my bad day less painful !! i just placed a "replacement" order along with some extra goodies !! hopefully i wont do anything stupid again......for awhile anyway......i think i better stock up on some beer just in case.!!!!! THANKS adams forum for your support !!

  5. nobody laugh too hard at me........i just bought adams pc kit/ complete detail kit and the vac-n-blo last week for use at home. my wife has been bugging me to detail her van and change oil and such. stupid #1..........i left the drain pan of oil next to my work bench and went to grab my brand new micro fiber towels and dropped every single one in the used oil !!!!!

never even got to use them !!

stupid #2........i put the lid on the adams bucket to sit down and drown my sorrows with an ice cold beer, and apparently the socket i used for the oil change was under the bottom of the bucket.......POP ! i nice big hole in my new never used bucket !!!:mad:.......so much for my wifes detail job today !! okay.....stop laughing everyone....oh well, its only money i guess.......the beers cold though:thumbsup:
