Hey blick05SS sorry to bring up an old post but how did it come out? I have a black Infiniti with the scratch shield paint that I am having a hard time with. I seem to be able to get rid of the scratches that i made with the claybar but not much else. There are some other surface scratches that just wont go away no matter what I do.
Thanks

Congrats that is a beautiful car! Any pics of the trophy?
-
Beautiful car! Did you get out of there before the rain hit?
-
I had a truxedo lopro on my lightning and loved it. Don't think its made of leather though..... I'd imagine VRT or the leather conditioner would work great on it.
-
Looks great. I just did the same thing on my boat to the old plastic (its a 92) and everything looks new again. Forgot to take some before and after pics.
-
Only gallon I have is the carwash soap and it makes a mess every time i pour it. Going to put some in another container that is easier to pour.
-
I used my leather conditioner for the seats and all the plastics inside and it worked great.

I accidentally ran over my bottle of detail spray so I was forced to switch over to my new bottle which happens to be the new formula.

:pc:Got my PC today. Guess they saw Junkman's video because it didn't include the microfiber towel.
-
I am waiting on my PC too. Hope to have it this week.
-
It does have mild oxidation so I will get some of the 3M Finesse-it and give that a shot. I would like to use my PC but it sounds like I really need a buffer. Would you recommend a wool pad on the buffer?
-
That looks great. Any idea how SHR or FMP would work on a boat with the PC? I need to give my boat a good buffing but don't feel like going out and getting another buffer and more pads just for the boat.

Okay I'll bite ,whats a Unimog?
Well for a DD I would stick to a Jeep but for off-road the unimogs seem pretty hard to beat. Probably way to much for me to type here so I'll post a link to the wikipedia site. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unimog

Mine turns pink after drying with detail spray but it washes out.
-
I wanted a jeep until I discovered the Unimog.

I always wondered how I could do that. Great idea. Now, how do you get the soap in the sprinkler?
Something like this maybe?

Im sure there are other options out there.

WOW! Like someone else said. How do you go from being in the secret service to detailing cars?
-
Looks great!

I used my foam gun and wash pad tonight and it worked great. The pad does hold a ton of liquid and the size made washing quicker.
-
Well I understand that part I just wasn't sure if i needed a bucket of soapy water (since there will be soap on the car already) or if i should just rinse my mitt in a bucket of clean water between scrubbing sections of the car.
-
So do you guys still keep a bucket full of soapy water to rinse the wash mit off or just a bucket of clean water? I haven't used my foam gun yet but am planning on trying it out tonight.
Thanks
TBSS and some leaves...
