  1. I bought two of these about 2 months ago. One of them work enough for me, so the one I'm selling, literally has been used twice. It's perfect and will come with a bottle of carpet extractor cleaner from detailers domain.

These retail $500 new, but I caught a deal and got it for $400 shipped. Since its barely used I'm listing it for $375, just trying to pass on the savings. Thanks

  2. Sometimes I run into vehicles where my vacuum just won't vacuum up everything, especially the trunk carpet, almost like the little tiny pieces are embedded in the carpet.... I'm using a 6hp 6 gallon shop vac and I use the brush attachment most of the time...

Any tips, or vacuum's you pro's use? Thanks!

  3. I run a mobile automotive detail company and recently made my 10th order. Not only was it a great deal, but everything I asked for was there the way I needed it to be.

Thank you Adams team for more customer service. I mix and match brands but I will always have a need for your Detail Spray, Undercarriage Spray, Buttery Wax and VRT. Thank you!!!

  4. I've been detailing for 2 years now and haven't heard these words before. Maybe a good spot for a right up and pictures...

What is marring and holograms... I assume marring is too much product... hologram? Etching? (bird poo oxidizes thru CC?)

    Thanks =)

Trying not to sound noobish, but trollin some posts and see this come up frequently. I'm sure I've run into marring and holograms before just didn't know that was the "term" for them.

  5. On the doors by the handles and the dash, the material looks like a vinyl but has a tiny square pattern...

Customer has finger prints and some dirt residue on doors... any good ideas on how to get it out? I tried some DS lightly, but I don't want to go at it with anything that will fade the color...

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Haven't encoutered a G8 yet, that's why I ask! =)

  6. There is plenty of money to be made detailing cars. After 2 years, you have to go after "retail jobs". Dealerships...bodyshops etc. Just depends how much effort your going to put in. My shop does Detailing, window tint and paintless dent repair. I live in chicago so spring summers are great, fall is ok, but winter NOTHING so keep a part time job you can go full time at in winters, unless your budgeting and starting out bigger to cover yourself thru winter. Good luck!

  7. just watched junkman's videos on polish and smw... definitely makes sense and now I'm real excited to use products some more!

Not tryin to sound noobish but I'm still getting to know Adam's products over other brands and I'm liking Adam's much better!

  8. I'm not getting the results I want or should when I've been using the SMW unless I use the Brilliant glaze after it...(then it looks amazing)

I feel like maybe I'm using to much or to little, but when I use the SMW the car feels super super smooth but doesn't shine well...

Also I posted in general topic that I recently had a maxima that has a spot of haziness, and I'm assuming it's the SMW overuse and not being completely taken off well.

Anyways, I use a soft or medium pad when applying and apply at either 4k or 5k on the PC. I put 4 dime size marks on pad and one in middle then detail spray... when it starts looking lighter I just re-apply detail spray and finish the other half of car...

    Any advice appreciated...

  9. Did a customers car 2007 maxima. Whole car turned out great but in one spot, behind door but before fender, customer just called and said there was haziness...

    I did

    Clay

    SHR (PC at 5k)

    Polish PC at 5k

    SMW PC at 5k

    Brilliant Glaze

Could it be from to much SMW not completely cleaned off?

I'm going to take a look at it soon and clay then re-polish and either buttery wax or BG back over it...

    Any advice appreciated

  10. I love asking questions here because I'm in love with detailing. It truly is an addiction...

Anyways, I'm not super new to the business, but I am not completely familiar with Ferrari's.

I will be detailing a Modena shortly. Any great tips you can give me? Any products I shouldnt use. (As in, is that clear coat safe for SHR/MFP/SMW/Glaze?

I will be using the PC for the entire car. Probably aroudn 4k or 5k

    Thanks all!!

  11. Detailed a Nismo 350Z for Hot Import nights, did not take before pictures and I was too excited to detail it. =) Turned out great! Both car's were also tinted!
