Thanks everyone and Adam... I was quite thrilled.

    for those interested it was

    car shampoo

    WW for drying

BSG for chrome and rims and glass

    VRT for tires and trim

    leather conditioner for interior

APC for engine bay and exhaust tips

and finally Revive polish to make the black paint pop!

    Thanks for the great products!!!

  2. Would it be ok to use a micro fleece blanket as an indoor car cover? Or could it possibly scratch the the finish of the car? I was thinking I would like to cover my Redline when its in the garage to keep the dust off. I was also thinking this would be a cheaper alternative to the car covers that are available. The car covers I have checked out seem to be alot stiffer and rough compared to mirco fleece fabric. Isn't micro fleece similar to a micro fiber towel? And we use micro fiber towels for everything. Anyone have an opinion? or experience?

    Thanks

  3. I sure would like to be able to get one of these black Under Armour polos with the Adam's logo that Adam wears in the new video. I have several of those black shirts and they are my favorite shirt to wear. Is this something that could become available to us Adam's family members?

This is the one I'm talking about.

  4. I really like WW very much it has made the DD (2000 GMC Sierra) look fantastic and is very easy to use. I did the truck and the my Redline and it does as advertised. My new favorite Adam's product without a doubt. Good thing I order the gallon special cause I nearly used a whole bottle today, which I'm sure Adam just loves to hear. The new towel is great too, I ordered the special today to get some more of those!

  5. I just use an old Adams box from an earlier order. I guess I should get something fancier but I just like the box.:2thumbs:. One for clean towels and one for dirty towels. My wonderfull wife knows which is which and she will wash when she is washing. I did have to have a MF washing lesson which I'm sure she really appreciated. Again she thinks I'm a nut:lol:, maybe I am but after reading the posts on this forum I know I'm ok.

  6. The pad is good, but if you have a canvas top convertible you will have to use a different bucket of water to clean the top, or clean the top first. I made the mistake of washing the top after washing the car, and there were fibers left in the water. I had to use a lint roller to remove all the fibers stuck to the top. So now I do the top first thing, to prevent this from happening.

Maybe I shouldn't clean the top with the car wash soap? But I figure it was safe enough and it does a good job and smells good too.

    Thanks

  7. I know I shouldn't have let them wash it but I really didn't have that much control over it. It is Dad's car and he thought it looked good at the dealership, I thought it was horrible. The "detail"?? guy was just finishing it as we drove up in my car. I told Dad to look at mine which is 18 months older and has dings and chips (from when Dad owned it) and look at the new car and he was astonished by how good my car looks compared. The salesmen and managers were very impressed how good my car looked. I just don't get how they can't or don't want to keep those cars clean at least on the lot. Anyways I got it home and washed it again and dried it with detail spray and also put the buttery wax on it ( I didn't have as much time as Dad had to get on the road back to Beaumont) and the car looked fantastic!!! Thanks Adam's for your outstanding products nothing will ever touch my car but your products.

Thanks for the advice from evryone and I will get my hands on that new car and spend a whole day on it the next time I get a chance.

    Pictures are on the way.

    Thanks

  8. My Dad is picking up a 2009 Saturn Sky Redline in the morning. I know its going to be washed by the dealer:help:, What do I need to do when I get it?

Its going to be Onyx Black like mine, so I'm sure it will need at the very least to be Detail Sprayed.

Dad is going to be driving it back to Beaumont Tx tonight. He is not the detailing fanatic that I am and it will be killing me knowing he won't ever wash it.

Should I get a buttery wax on it?

I know I will Detail Spray it for sure.

I need to know what would the Adam's fanatics do with a brand new car?

    Thanks

  9. Thanks for everyones advice, I had just bought a sampler kit in November, so I think the additional items I ordered will do for now. I'm sure I will be ordering more and more and more...

I got the gallon of detail spray, the clay bar, revive polish, a new drying towel and the complete bucket set up right at $160.

Thanks Ashley, sorry I had already ordered before your post, next time I will contact you to see what you can do for me.

I just started a new job and all the people there just ohh and ahh about how clean my Sky is!! I always give the props to Adam's.

    Thanks again for everyone's input.

  10. Hi Jason,

I would like to change my forum name to "RJRSKY", I was using Retiredtexas because the Sky belonged to my Dad and he just let me have it parttime and thats how I started really getting into the detailing of the car and joined this forum with his name since it was his car.

Well long story short he did the most amazingly wonderful thing and gave me his car, so it is all mine now and I would like to change my forum name so he can use "retiredtexas" when he gets his new Saturn Sky later this month, even though I will be the one detailing that one too. By the way the RJR stands for Ralph JR, which I proudly want everone to know that I am his son. Sorry for the long winded post and thanks.

  11. I received some money for my Adams products for Christmas. Now I need to decide what I need. I know for sure I want a gallon of the Detail spray because I absolutely love it.

Should I try the Clay bar and Revive polish?

    or, The Bucket set?

or more of the MF Towels?

    Any suggestions?

I have a $100 buget although my better half said "whatever you want honey" so going over a little will be ok. She thinks I'm a real nut about this detailing thing.

So please let me know what ya'll think!!
