  1. Can't say I can recommend one but just thought I'd share that last time I was looking into this (yes, mine is pretty cruddy so I put a wheel cover on it) it was a couple of weeks process to ship, do the job, and ship back.

I can't do without a steering wheel for any amount of time so this option pretty much went out the window - I continue with the wheel cover.

  2. This may sound like a stupid question but I need help.

I received my goods for the first time a few weeks back and got to work on my car and all is good - I need more time invested on my car and more swirls should dissapear.

My question is that since my Adam's Dual-Action Velcro Backing Plate came with what I believe to be a washer, I did not install the washer that came with the PC.

However, the plate did come off during use and did stip part of the threads even though I had tightened with the wrench.

Should I have also added the washer that came with the PC? Or should I have been good to go with the washer that came with the plate?

    I'm now confused...

  3. The speed you move the polisher across the paint is one of the biggest mistakes that folks new to a polisher make. Because of the limited torque of the PC, you can't rush it to do the work. You have to allow it to work within its own time. Once you figure this out, you will achieve better results much faster without wiping yourself out on one section of the car.

And this is where I likely went wrong this past weekend when I did the deed for the very first time - and man was my arm sore at day's end. Took me six hours to complete and am overall very happy with the results.

However, I can still see some scratches that I can't help but think that had I devoted more time to, they may no longer be an issue.

Which brings me to my next point; Now that the car had the clay done along with swirl remover, polish and wax (I have the PC), if I want to redo the swirl remover in certain spots - Can I just go at it? Or do I have to remove the wax first and if so - How can I remove it?

And of course, polish and wax would have to be reapplied accordingly afterwards...

    Any ideas?

  4. Just got mine today. However I was missing most of the bonus items :(. Sent out an email to Adam. No doubt he will take care of me. But what a letdown when I opened the box this AM lol. I don't think my smile could go to a frown any faster heh heh. Ah well, no biggie. Like I said, Adam will hook me up I am sure.

BTW, the bag is very nice. You can tell some though was put into it during the production phase.

I got my very first order today including the bag and was missing all of the bonus items (16oz detail spray, 16oz Glass Cleaner and Glass Cleaning Towel).

I called Asheley and she's taking care of business. If only all online stores were this courteus.....furreel

  5. Hello - first time here.

    I just have two questions I haven't been able to get answers to by looking around;

    1) Is it okay to use the PC on plastic body parts? Bumpers and what not?

    2) What's the lowest temp the swirl remover, polish and "Buttah" (as Junkman says -love his videos) can be applied? I'm in the Chicagoland area and we're already getting a bit nippy.

My goodies arrive tomorrow for the first time and worry it may be too late for the season temperature wise unless we get another warm up...

    Thanks.
