Sorry to dig something up that is a few months old but I have the same issue. I have to reset my password every time I want to log in. I can reset my password, log in on my laptop, and then attempt to log in on my phone with the password that I just set and it will fail. Did the password reset from @TheWolf do the trick?

No problem. If I remember correctly, the password reset helped, but I discovered that it was my username that was causing the issue. You might want to try your email address instead of the username that you created (or vice versa). After that, the problem went away for me.

Correct. I can produce a ridiculous amount of foam with my cannon using UFS. How much product are you using? I like to use 4-5 oz of UFS per Foam Cannon canister. Thats where i get the best results... also I recently upgraded from an electric pressure washer to a gas powered (2,800 psi, 2.3 GPM) and that brought my foam game to a whole other level!

I followed the foam cannon manufacturer's instruction. It was probably 3 or 4 squirts. I'll try using more this weekend. I have a Ryobi 1600 PSI, 1.2 GPM electric pressure washer, which I think is awesome for the size. I read that the gas ones produce better foam, but I didn't want to spend a lot for a starter unit. I asked because some folks are saying that the blue shampoo produces the same amount of foam by adding a little bit more. I thought by going with the UFS, I could get a nice foam with less amount of shampoo. I hope I'm correct. Thanks.

I've gotta say I love the UFS and I definitely notice more foam in my foam cannon. I like to use g&g but using ceramic boost from time to time will give a nice glossy result!

Hey Eric, when you say "more foam,"  you mean in comparison to the regular blue shampoo, correct? I went straight to the UFS instead of the blue shampoo, but after my first use, I didn't see the thick foam that I was expecting with my foam cannon. It could be my cannon's orifice, which I plan to change next.

Don't forget the forum discount code "shineon" for an additional 10% discount. Or do some searching and you might find a 15% code.

Man, you guys are awesome! Thanks!

For the type of swirls marks on the pic above and maybe some light to medium scratches, which chemical/compound would I need? Would the One step polish be good enough or do I need the Correcting Polish plus the Finishing polish?

I had the opportunity this last summer to try out a beta version of the Swirl Killer Polisher (SK) on this neglected Porsche Boxster.  You might remember this car from a previous write-up that I did, but what I was not able to share in that post was that I actually used both the beta version of the SK and the Rupes 15 Mark II (R15II) on this car.

To keep track of their results, I used the R15II on the passenger side, and the SK on the driver's side, switching back and forth between the machines for each panel to give the pads time to cool off.

I started with the R15II on speed 4 and did a quarter of the hood.  All the swirls were removed by the time the Correcting Polish flashed.  With the SK on speed 4, it did not correct as well.  After this section, I increased the speed on the SK to 5.5, and found that overall it corrected just as well as the R15II on speed 4, with similar time required to get the correction needed.

This portion of the rear deck was typical of the overall damage on the entire car:

This is exactly what I have on my 2016 black Sonata and they're all over the car. I'm sold on SK 15 mm, but I'll have to wait for the next big sale.

    Probably forgetting your password....  :lolsmack:

Just kidding.  I'm not sure what would cause this, as I am not aware of anyone having this issue before.  Send me a PM once you see this post, and I will reset your password to see if that fixes the issue.

Haha! I'm not sure too, but I had to reset/renew it again just so I could respond this post. It's becoming irritating. :help:

Will send you a PM. Thanks!

  7. To the Admins...

I've been having login issues since I signed up. I would renew my password then log in and things are fine. The next day, I would attempt to login, but it will say "my password is incorrect." I would renew it again via the "Forgot Password" then I'll get in. The next day, same issue. I think I've renewed my password like 10 times. What I am doing wrong?

    Thanks.

Welcome, Patrick! Guam’s quite the distance to support this addiction, so hats off to ya! Military?

Thanks Chris. Yep, the shipping cost is killing me. Not military. Just a civilian supporting the military = )

Welcome to the addiction, Patrick.  :welcomebanner:.  You'll find most of the forum members have a full arsenal of Adam's products........... the addiction is real !!!

Oz, it's amazing how many products people have accumulated. Saw some of the pics of their garages and cabinets. It's crazy!

  9. Hi Guys,

I signed up about a month ago, but could not check in until now. I'm new to the world of detailing. Found Adam's polishes from a YouTube video and now I'm hooked. I can't count how many detailing videos I've watched since then. I'm also now in debt because of the amount of products I bought. This is crazy!

Looking forward to your tips, guides, and recommendations.

    Have a good one!

Not the first person ive heard complain about the “other guys” foam gun. Ive had the Adams premium foam since the first day it was released 2-3 years ago, or however long it has been. Ive used it for 100s of washes. It’s been dropped, kicked, rolled around the bed of my truck (none of this on purpose) and the thing hasn’t failed me yet. It all comes down to how well you’ll take care of it. If you think or are worried it’ll get dropped and beat up id recommend the premium. If you’re  gonna be careful and such then you’ll be fine with the cheaper option.

Good to know that it's durable. Any rust issues? Thanks.

Nice. Good job! I'm curios, which products did you end up getting? I just picked up a used 2016 Hyundai Sonata in black and now I need to maintain it. I've never done any detailing before so I definitely need some guidance. I'm planning on doing the 2 bucket method with the foam gun, but not sure what to use after that. Thanks!
