  1. We really want to apologize for the downtime suffered over the last two days. Unfortunately our Internet Brands network was targeted with a series of cyber attacks that severely limited access over this time period. Our tech team has worked around the clock to resolve the issue. We absolutely appreciate your patience and understanding and do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the attack.

  2. My new towels I have did this ever so slightly today and I cant remember my old towels that were brand new doing this but maybe they did....like I said it wasnt much so I might not even have noticed in my excitement of the nice detail!

I havent had the chance to use one after a wash yet....hope it doesnt happen to me.

I washed cold cycle very little detergent and air dried. They dont feel as plush after washing as a brand new one but still feel nice!

  3. B-E-A-Utiful. Just a suggestion, but I think you should disable the date option on your camera. It takes away from the picture IMO. Also if you wait for later in the day, say 5:00 or so you would get much softer light and your pictures would not look washed out,as in the paint would look richer and not white around the hot spots. Con-Agra is a great place for pictures. I definitely want to do a photoshoot with your car though. It would be a blast.:burnout:

Yeah, dangit today would have been perfect for a photoshoot.....I should have thought of that.....I normally dont have weekends off so I hope I didnt just ruin the one and only good opportunity!

I definately want to disable the date, and should have done it a while back.

Its just a nikon point and shoot...S210 I think...I will have to mess with the settings and see if I can figure out how to adjust the lighting on it....I agree its a bit bright.

  4. :pc: Yea I think that they swap out the weight before they ship!:burnout:

I was told by Ashley that they ship out from a third party and that she would have to contact them for tracking info. She also said they ship out about 3 days after your order ships from Adams.

So do they ship to Adams and then they perform the counter balance swap and removal of the pad before it actually ships out to the customer? The stories just arent adding up.

This is all fine if thats the normal procedure but maybe in the future the communication and info on the website should be better and more informative of this process then customers wont question things.

I cant wait to try the PC out and get those fantastic results that the junkman shows on the vids!

  5. First thing to do would be to contact customer service by sending an email to Tips@Adamspolishes.com if you have an issue, but that being said 6" Sanding / Polishing Pads are not included if you purchased the unit thru Adams the PC sold thru the website is one specifially setup for detailing, thus there is no sanding disc and if you ordered a kit from Adams you would have gotten an adams backing plate and polishing pads in lieu of the crappy one that PC includes.

As for the weight not sure what to tell you there, it should have been swapped out prior to shipping or at the very least packaged with your backing plate and pads. Did you order your PC thru Adams??

Yes, I ordered it through Adams. You pretty much answered my questions.

I didnt know the counter balance would be swapped and the original pad removed before I got it.

When I watched the Junkmans videos he specifically shows that the PC comes with those items.

I dont really want to complain if this is like standard practice but it wasnt stated so that is why I am asking. Thanks.

  6. Sorry dude... Been so busy lately, I never posted it up... I had the picture saved, and the sig done in a photoshop format but then forgot about it...

    Here ya go

Cool man! Appreciate it....wasnt in a hurry, Im not going anywhere...LOL!

  7. I received my PC7424xp today.......

When I went to open it, the box looked like it had already been opened a few times before......there were two seperate instances of tape that were applied to re-seal the box yet both were still cut and the box was not sealed.

When I opened the box I was missing a few items...

It did not come with the 6" Counter Balance and 6" Sanding / Polishing Pad.

Are these items removed for some reason? Thanks.

  8. We do! :banana::banana:

    Im a follower now...

  9. If you are wanting some really nice pics done let me know. I have been looking into adding my eye to my wife's photog. business, and I would love some practice with that sweet car.

Yeah, we'll have to set something up come springtime.:glasses:

  10. The bra in the first pic was used for my drive to/from the car show. Obviously, to protect the front end from small rocks, and bugs. I've since purchased a Speed Lingerie bra for better protection when traveling.

I somehow dont have any chips on my front end but after washing it last time I notice a very small nick out on my mirror.....whats the chances of that???:willy:

  11. Yep... post up some pictures and I can knock one out for ya...

Hey thanks. Here are a few to work with. Hopefully I will get even better ones next spring.

  12. Who here makes the sig pics? Does everyone just make their own?

I have Photoshop but am horrible at it.....Wondering if someone who makes good ones would be so kind as to make me one with a few pics I supply?

If not thats ok, I might mess around and embarrass myself with a corny one soon enough...LOL!
