Feel free to move to my not so great home state of Delaware, no sales tax. I thought this was already happening though as I have accepted shipments for friends in PA and MD to avoid paying tax. Maybe they made the purchase in a brick and mortar store and had the purchase shipped rather than picking it up.

Here some advise that is too late to help this time. I usually shovel about 5 feet into the street for 10-15 feet before my drive way. That keeps all or at least most of the snow from clogging my drive way when the truck come through.

Great tip. I've done this before. Neighbor asked me why and didn't think it would work. When he had huge chunks of ice/snow to move from the end of his driveway after the plow came through and I didn't, he saw that it works.

This is my 3rd dal, and she is the best, we rescued her as she was an abused dog from a very bad home...she is the calmest, sweetest dog. I can't believe someone could abuse this dog, honestly she is a real gentle loving dog. However, since she is 14 she does like her relaxing time, but she also loves to ride and hang out with the family.

I think rescued dogs become gentle, calm and sweet when good owners come along. My parents have rescued an Akita and she was a calm, kid and other pet loving animal once she settled in and got over the fact that no one was going to punch and kick her anymore. My mom wanted to get another Akita but was worried it wouldn't be the gentle giant (120lbs) the adopted one was.

LOL yes. and instead of sad puppies it would be $100k+ cars with swirled finishes.

Buy a ZR-1 ( and lesser vehicles) from their local dealer and it comes prepped by Adam's rather than the dealer and get a Adam's kit to maintain new car.

I used it on top of a layer of wax last weekend for a cruise night made the red REALLY pop on my G8.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm changing industries so even if I signed a non compete agreement it wouldn't matter. Going from Trust accounting to corporate audit, not 100% finalized, just waiting on the official offer after today's conversation with their HR dept.

I have no desire to burn the bridge or being unprofessional about leaving so I plan on giving 2 weeks notice which seems to be the standard acceptable amount, they would prob appreciate more notice but oh well.

Have a job related question to ask you guys and gals. I'm resigning my from my current position and was looking for advice. Do I need to tell them where I am going? I worry about my direct manager gossiping, talking trash, possibly contacting the new company, etc. I just generally don't trust her. And another co worker who is looking to leave agrees.

Part of me feels like NOT telling anyone will create more issues and the reality is eventually SOMEONE will find out and it'll be around the office before anyone knows it.

Never done this before, NOT looking forward to it (dealing with resigned and the crap I will hear for 2 weeks). First job out of college, been there for 6yrs but it is absolutely time for me to move on.

Sounds like my daily uphill battle with my newly (and by newly I mean 8 months, ugh) hired boss. I've learn to just say okay you're right, and walk away, unless it impacts the client then I just pull up evidence supporting what I'm saying.

Next time this friend calls you out, show them proof of a nice shiny car, no clear coat on the car won't look good.

Oops. At least he probably has insurance to cover all those involved. Would have been sweet justice if the driver of the camera car had gotten a ticket for one of the 2 illegal u-turns he made while laughing at a guy for an accident.

I was thinking about my first car the other day when I came across some misc interior parts in my basement. 1995 Grand Am 2 Door GT that I bought from my parents, I had fun with it for 8yrs when I got rid of it I was in the middle of fiberglassing tweeters into the triangles where the manual mirror adjustment would have been ( that is what I found in my basement). Had rims and most of bodykit on it when I traded it in ( never got around to ordering the rear fascia). I wondered if it was ever bought or what. Would I buy it back.... if I had the space to keep it MAYBE and only if it had the body kit still on it.

Traded that for a 04 2Dr Accord, had that for 2 years, then traded that in on my G8 GT I have now.

I personally don't think you are crazy for this. When I was freshman going into sophomore year we ( the football team) worked out fairly hard, I personally was 15 at the time though. Coaches stressed the injury thing, no reason to work out if your injured.
