Completely different cars with different appeals. The GTs are special and I'd like to have both. In the end if I had to chose, I would rather have the 40. It's just a far more visceral experience than the GT. When you climb out of this car you are sweating, your palms and wet, you're half deaf, and you're wore out from driving something with no power anything and manual everything. It's a beast.

The is the EXACT experience I have when driving our Daytona Coupe, I mean exact...lol.

Well, it is a Factory Five kit car, non-donor, which means its all new stuff. It is powered by a Kieth Kraft windsor based 408 stroker, backed by a Tremec TKO 600 to a new Ford 8.8 rear, 3.73 gears, and a 3 link setup.Fully adjustable upper control arms, and Koni coilover shocks all around, 4 wheels disc brakes. 275 front, 315 rear Goodyear GS-D3 tires on 17" Halibrand replicas. The car weighs about 2300 lbs, and according to the dyno sheet, has 517 horsepower and 565 ft/lbs at the flywheel.

Almost done with the coupe. Installing the windshield this week, and I will be putting on all the decals next week, and thats about it.

And, you may like this shot alot, I am getting married this weekend, and this is part of the beer that I have purchased for the reception..20 30 packs and 1 case..lol...624 beers, I just think it's a beautiful sight to have in a garage. It's Coors light cuz I know that's a pretty universal beer. I have my own stash saved up of my beer(PBR) for the celebration.
