I just used my new horsehair brush for the first time and OMG! the smell almost killed us all - I may have gotten the horsehair from the wrong end!
Anybody else have this problem?
Is this normal and how do I get rid of the smell?
I have tried APC and soaking it in bleach but the brush is winning.

Good heavens! Is that Nissan pic retouched at all, or HDR?!? That shine in insane!
No retouching or HDR - That is the results of my first complete Adams detail last summer - 12 hours of work, unfortunately living up here in AK it didn't last long.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Ashley and Matt Butcher for helping me out with my last order, and really the whole Adams team - its hard to find top notch products and outstanding customer service all in one place!
Thank You!

I just got the double bucket set with the plate and have the same issue, I think FXR500 hit the nail - the plate is just thick enough to prevent the caster from "locking" into the bucket. I dont think its a defect because if you move the plate to different holes without the plate then the wheels lock in. Maybe a dab of silicone will solve the issue?

Cool - at least Im not the only one. I will give the human shampoo idea a shot and see what happens. I guess on a positive note I dont have to worry about my wife using the brush...at all! :-)
