  1. Does anyone know where I can find some of these.

I had purchased a few of them years ago and I looked on ADAMS store site and don't see them offered anymore.

They are great for the FLEX 3401. They are recessed on the non-working end and fit the FLEX 3401 backing plate perfectly.

Looking for at least 3 of them Or whatever I can find.

All of mine are pretty worn LOL (have 2 more that look the same as these just today used and clean ones)!

  2. Hello All,

Has anyone had success with Adams Trim Coating on "smooth" B-Pillars, with darkening and having good results adhering to the smooth surface?

My vehicle I want to consider purchasing the kit for is my Chrysler SRTD (2008').

In the past I have used CarPro Reload but looking something a bit more long term on keeping the B-Pillars looking black as opposed to a month or two.

  3. Yes, it can be used on clear coat to remove iron particles. It works dang well too.. I recommend using it out of direct sunlight, and re-wash after using it. You should actually use it after claying though. This won't remove enough by itself to bybass using a clay bar. But even after a clay bar it will remove some iron left in the paint. Great stuff this DWC.

Not to say that your process is in-correct Ryan but I use IX/DWC prior to claying because to me its a benefit to chemically dissolve and remove any iron particles first.

When removing the iron particles embedded on and in the paint first,I remove the potential to trap them onto my clay bar and this should prevent having them rubbed over the paint where they could instill scratches.

It's a product to help solve a potential scratching from claying issue.

    Just my opinion ;)

  4. So, update. We dropped the car off Saturday afternoon. This place called Dobbs quoted us 4.5 hours of work and the bill would be $1200-$1500 depending on what fuel pump the car needed. The had 3 hours to work on it Saturday. Didn't start it, not a big deal I understand you can't start a vehicle right away a the time. We call Monday, guy says, "yeah we started it this morning". Me being curious I rode up there at noon in the snow. Sure enough the car hasn't been started. It was on the lift but the exhaust still there and the rear end still installed showed signs the car wasn't started. The guy says, " sorry we're busy". Oh man this got me fired up when he told me earlier it was started already. Now he tells me won't be done til 5pm. I'm not driving him at night in the snow, so another night here in st Charles, MO.

Man that must be frustrating.real sorry to hear about your situation.
