I would agree with others in that unless there was haze that was not fully removed from the Glass Coating Wipes, they will not impact functionality of any cameras. If you have any white Finishing Polish or Brilliant Glaze, put a drop on a plush microfiber towel and wipe back over that specific area, to make sure there are no high-spots from the coating.

I would also check any wiring connections inside of the front bumper, especially if there were high winds and rain. A piece of tire flew up from a truck in front of me and hit one of the parking sensors dead-on in the front bumper of my car - it didn't come unplugged, but it did bump the whole housing loose, so it was constantly beeping like I was going to have a collision until I pulled off the road a 1/4 mile later and snapped the sensor back into place (luckily nothing broke).

Maybe check the adaptive cruise settings and auto high beam settings in the vehicle settings - perhaps something accidentally reset to a default configuration?

The settings are all as they should be. I toggled  everything off and back on. I will check the connection on the radar emitter, already checked the one for the camera and it seems to be fine. Who knows. It’s more of an annoyance than anything, just don’t want to have to deal with the crappy dealership here to get it looked at so I wanted to exhaust all possibilities before it came to that.

  2. My passenger side window was hit by a piece of shingle during the recent tornadoes on Easter Sunday. It left some scuff marks in the glass. Just wondering if it is even an option to try to polish that out? They are not super deep scuffs, just annoying.

  3. I also have a Tonneau Pro on my truck, I am still using the product that came with it but on my older one that I had I used VRT straight and it ran when it rained. The stuf that tonneau pro gives you does not run. So I guess you have to dilute the VRT. I have not tried it yet but going to the next time I do my truck.

Yeah, I used their cleaner but I wasn't all that sure that it had any protectant in it.

  4. I have two trucks and they have two different bed covers and I am trying to figure out what products work best on them. My older truck has a TonneauPro vinyl type "soft" bed cover and it needs cleaning and protection since the truck sits outside. My newer truck has a Bakflip G2 aluminum bed cover which has a textured finish on top. Any suggestions and/or first hand experience would be really appreciated!

  5. Do you have an OEM windshield or has it been replaced.  We had ours replaced about 3 months ago and this windshield is garbage compared to OEM.  Our windshield was a generic from Safelite.

It somehow seems very soft and is covered with rock pecks and scratches.  Some scratches are about 4 inches long and nothing harsh has ever touched the windshield that could do something like that to my knowledge.

I'm not sure if it is the original or not. I am the second owner of the truck so who knows.
