I grew up in her hometown and her parents are my fathers neighbors. I got to meet her and Lance Armstrong on a Thanksgiving a couple years back when I was back home on leave from the military. They were playing football in a lot next to my fathers house with some family/friends. It was pretty crazy! My sister looked out the window after hearing some people outside and said "Oh, by the way, Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow are playing football outside.." odd way to meet but pretty cool
