  1. Thanks for the feedback guy's. I don't think the quality of paint on a Vette is on the same level as a Porsche or other high level cars. I guess GM made up for it with a harder clear coat. Still love the Vette though.

I wish my camaro's clear was the same as my dad's 09 Zo6, my car's paint is INCREDIBLY soft. But i can also vouch that the clear for the vette's paint is hard took me a while to PC it it

  2. Yes Mike use to do it in Orlando. Got my cart and all from him. The retirement community I live in or by there are alot of car clubs. Really nice Vettes, and Camaros and so on. Trying to get with them cats to set up a detail clinic of some sort. see what happens

Sounds like a good plan. Kind of bummed Mike isnt a distributor anymore or for the time being.

Anyways, i too have some camaro and corvette brother and sisters that want some adams lovin', they just arent in the detailing spirit......yet :jester:

  3. Sweet! I have 3 blacks, so I'll have one for MSS, BW, and revive (once I get some)

    sent from your HTC Rezound

interesting. Never knew you could use the grey pad for more than the MSS.

Can someone explain to me the pros to using the grey with the revive polish and what kind of correction should it be used for?....im guessing light correction as in dylans write up?

    Nice Job Dylan!

  4. Been looking into the Adams Dist also... I got the package Ashley emailed me,,, got to look it all over and see what all is to it. Get with Her when you looking to do it...

I need to see what kind of interest there is here in Central Florida to do it...

Are you near orlando?... i know there used to be a adams dealer there, so im pretty sure there are some clients that want some adams stuff.

But thanks, i've been needing to talk to ashley about that. So far, i've gotten our camaro group to try adams stuff and everybody really likes it. So we'll see:thumbsup:

  5. I do it on the side as well, throughout the weekend. I look at it as fueling my passion and not paying for my hobby. Like other said I put half aside and spend the other on random things I would. Also just come up with some packages and they can pick what they want based on what you offer. The one advise I would say is dont sell yourself short and treat there car like your own and you will be fine.

    :iagree:

I've been thinking about doing this too but not really sure where to start. Be nice to be a adams dealer later down the road:rockon:

  6. Sounds like you got your solution, im in a similiar situation too. Live at home with my parent and since its just me and my mom, she graciously let me have the pantry for my gallon refills. All my bottles are kept in my room in a big, plastic bin and the towels in my closet in a 3 drawer bin. It's a decent setup for now but i'd like to make it nicer and more organized soon:willy:

  7. Hey Dylan, while washing today i had a couple issues, my car shampoo has not been sudsing ever since i got it and i was going to try it one last time before i contacted yall.

Now i write this here because that led me to going inside the house to get another soap causing the water on my stripes to heat up and dry up. some of the spots look like hard water spots and the remaining few are filled in kind of hazy (if that make any sense)

I tried: Detail spray, Blue hex pad w/ FMP, and VRT, APC, with no luck. What do you recommend? thanks!

Edit: just saw the product problem thread, will email about the shampoo.
