Nice looking Truck...I wish that I were getting that kind of mileage out of mine however. I haven't lifted mine or changed the tires out as of yet. The only plan I have is to put a leveling kit on the front end. It is plenty high for me as is. I have about 2000 miles on mine and am averaging 14.0 to 14.2 according to the DIC. I was told by the dealer to expect to put about 10-15 thousand on it before I would see any changes in mileage. I know a guy that had a Duramax and he was getting about 24 mpg and soon as he lifted it and changed the tires out it dropped it down to 18.

now with the lift it looks like i'm down to about 12.5 mpg a tank, but i also only have about 2500 miles on mine and it's getting really cold out. hopefully i can get up to 14 once it's broken in and warmer out. thanks!

the kit can clear 37's, but i don't to run it that high.

so far it looks like i'm averaging about 15.5 a tank or so.

I sold my '08 vortec max last month and picked up this Silverado 2500HD Duramax LML. Since buying it last month i've done a decent amount of work to it to include a BDS 6.5" lift kit. Here are the pictures of the truck completed thus far. Any questions feel free:
