I've used QS a few times and have been pleased with it until one time I found some "dots" of what I thought looked like overspray in an area adjacent to where I used the QS a few days earlier.  It took me many passes of polishing to remove them.  I attributed it to QS overspray that didn't get leveled and am shy to use it now, unless the rest of the car is covered.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Let me tell you that Revive is my must have for my very white Pacecar Camaro.  It shows many little black spots after driving and I have found that Revive is the only thing that will clean some of these spots off. Gets the paint REALLY WHITE!! Fantastic product!

This stuff never ceases to amaze me.  It is now my go to when I want to REALLY clean the paint after claying or even instead of claying.  It takes off crap that nothin' else will.

No, not stained.  They get all manner of particulate crap in them when I wash the Daily Driver, esp. the one for the lower half of the car. Seems no matter how much I rinse and rub, it doesn't all clear.

I can't seem to get my wash pads completely clean using the method described in the Adam's website.  Could I just toss them in the wash with my microfiber towels?

The purists will say: Detail spray,in this setting, is only for gloss enhancement on freshly cleaned paint finishes. Waterless Wash is for removing any dust or VERY LIGHT dirt accumulations. Otherwiswe,

Aren 't the glass towels a bit harsh for the plastic?

I've read lots of good info here on how to remove scratches from radio face but I would like to hear from those who have a safe way to clean the faces after they are perfect. I have not touched my guage cluster since the car was bought new 2 years ago so I know they are not scratched but they are getting foggy and dusty and before I touch them, I want to know of a way to do it without scratching.

Short answer is yes. The shallower area will most likely come out completely with proper technique and patience. The deeper scratched area will improve but not come out completely.

It would be helpful if you could post a pic of the area close-up. If you need any advice with technique, you are in the right place.

Why the rubber flooring?

I read about and then tried the Poor-boys spray and rinse wheel cleaner and initially thought it worked great. But after burning through a whole $13 bottle in 2 weeks, and finding that the wheel was only about 90% clean, I'm back to Adam's Green Wheel cleaner with brush and have a new appreciation for it.

Take my advice if your considering it, it's not worth it.

While we are on the subject...do we just add it to the main soap tub with our normal detergent or the pre wash or add it to the wash barrel directly? I'm not real knowledgeable about these things.

yeah, it has a little, maybe 1/8 or a 1/16th inch, not much, though.

think mine is pretty tight. let me go check it...

Got some Undercarriage spray to try out. I'm wondering what surfaces it is designed to enhance. I saw Ashley use it on the vinyl wheel well, but are there any other surfaces under the car like metal that I should consider using it on? How about in the engine compartment?

Dylan, in the first pic, there was just a small area of the bumper that needed correction of the short linear scratch. In the 2nd pic, I was working on the rocker panel. I felt the area was too narrow for the 6 in pads. I used a speed of 4.

No, I used the 3rd gen pads. Haven't got the new 4in. ones yet.

Used the 4 in pads only on PC. Never with a drill. The bumper shot was worked longer with more heat. But the other area, I specifically shortened the polish time to avoid heating. Same result.

need help with spider webs!

These "cobwebs" are always what's left when I use Adam's 4 inch pads and polishes on my SW Camaro. No problems with 6 in pads on PC or with Flex. They leave Mirrror finishes. I use the products exactly as instructed on Videos. It's hard to capture even with flash on a white car. But here are 2 pics as examples. In the one pic, I'm not concerned about the linear scratch, only the web like background appearance. It wasn't there when I started.

Can anyone diagnose my problem and prescribe a fix? Please...?

I have 2 kinds of overhead bulbs in my garage. Under the regular incandescent, my paint looks flawless. Under the halogen, the same exact area looks like crap. and no matter how much I polish it, it looks no better.

I've thought about just swapping out the hal's for all incan's. Would that count as successful paint correction?

You know, there are people who go to museums, galleries, shows and athletic events, etc. and really try to experience new things. And all I do is spend my free time in my garage rubbing on my cars, staring at the shine, day after day after day...

Oh well.... nobody's forcing them!
