I almost puked in my mouth after you said those carpet stains could be his chew spit.

I can only hope he doesn't treat his home that way too.

 

My sister in-law and brother make a mess out of their cars too. It drives me crazy!

His house stays pretty clean....thanks to his wife.

He works a dirty job. Dye setter (sp) at SRG global. And, he chews....I think that was some of the stains in the carpet.....spilled bottles.....gross.

Luckily I can't drive a standard shift.....so I didn't have to drive it.

I worked on his BMW over 2 days time. Worked on my truck too, one day.....And a friends truck the next. That way I got a break from ridiculously nasty and got to deal with just a little smutz.

Did you punch your brother in the face before or after?

I had no idea how bad it was on the inside. I had seen the outside, though. He dropped it off and I didn't see the inside till Monday morning....and I was like.... So...I debated very hard on punching him in the face after. I was at work when I finally saw him today....so I couldn't.

Nice turnaround man! Did you bother polishing it or just clean it up and seal/wax?

Mainly focused on interior and wheels. 2 bucket wash, clay, BG, and BW on exterior. The only thing I polished on, other than wheels, was the headlights.

First major detail this year. I'm sad to say....this is my brother's car. '98 BMW 328i.

I've cleaned it up once before when my best friend bought it. It wasn't too bad then. Then somehow my brother ended up buying it from him. And he doesn't take care of anything.

Ummmm... I confess that not only have I thought about this but I have experimented to see if spray sealant, Americana, Buttery Wax or Machine Super Wax works best.

So....which one is the best? I have all of the above.

...you're walking to your truck, in wally world parking lot after work, in the rain, looking at other cars....and your thought process goes something like this...."waxed recently", "not waxed recently", "waxed recently", "Oh dear lord! Never seen wax in its life!"

.....you debate on spraying Quick Sealant on your cats auto feeder food bowl thing, so maybe the food will slide out better, so you don't have to go to their rescue every time you walk in the kitchen.

After a crazy 4 days at work.....finally have a day off today. Slept till 1pm and it was awesome!!!!! Latest I've slept in in a long time. Going to clean up my truck tomorrow if the rain stops.

We need some Adam's wireless headphones so I can listen to my iPhone while detailing, without having the stupid cord in the way. Running it threw my shirt doesn't usually work out that well.
