ok cool all purpose cleaner should be coming in this week

So I was just going to put my pads in a bag after letting them from cleaning them a few days ago and i noticed these little specs all along the outside of the pad. I think its polish thats hardened but im not really sure? The best way Ifound to get them out was one by one using my nails to remove them. Is there any easier way to get rid of them, or could it possibly be something else?

Dont mean to thread jack but what would be the best way to clean chrome? The green wheel cleaner or the all purpose? Also Metal Polish 1 and 2 and than a seal would be the right way to do it? And then a glaze or something on top of it all? Thanks!

Oh and should I wipe the polish off before I wash or can i just wash it?

Yeah I know the surface would be clean, its just i had a lot of dusting and polish getting in little places that I want to clean before I put sealant on it. Thanks for the replies!

I just started my first full detail with a polisher yesterday and I have a couple questions.

Today I was able to do SSHR AND SHR, after doing FMP I was planning on just doing an IPA wipedown. Well I've been making quite a mess haha so I think i'm going to wash it after I do the FMP tomorrow.

Should I just do a normal 2 bucket wash with adams shampoo or dawn? (Don't have any APC)

Also after I wash, should I still do an IPA wipedown, or am I good to go and put on some sealant?

So i haven't found a good place to get my hood repainted yet and I can't wait any longer, the PC has been staring at me for a month now! Should i go ahead and polish over the chips or go around them? Thanks!
