Did anyone else notice that they are doing a "seminar" and not just a clinic?
And the seminar description is:
Detailing & Cleaning Friday, 8:00AM-10:00AM $150 per person Limit 8
Led by Adam Pitale of Adams Polishes. He will discuss cleaners, solvents, preservatives, compounding, clay, wax, polish techniques, paint touch ups.
Hmmm... "paint touch ups"
Wish I could be there!!
$150 a person to attend the seminar?

Good write up. Why wash again after clay? I am a bit confused on this as some videos say no need to wash again, and other say WASH?!?
What is the opinion on this?
I really did not wash to remove clay residue, but mainly a just in case step to prevent anything sitting on the car while I was claying.
Ahh, don't wait, after my first experience with Adam's, I threw my old stuff, that will remain nameless...but made me Car Crazy:D, away, and I never regretted getting rid of it and have never looked back!I imagine so haha

Looks great! I'm hoping we can convert you to 100% Adams in the future. I think you'll be happy you changed.
15% off makes it like getting free shipping... Now's the time to pounce!
Chris
Soon, have to use up the last of some stuff I had. I can not wait to try Americana.
Looks awesome to me! Great job! The one with the trees overhanging is amazing! Thanks, that one is my favorite!

My apologies, it must be my old eyes tricked me, because the finish looks to darn good for me to have made that mistake. The car does look great, and again sorry for the mistaken identity!
Haha, had me worried for a second.. I was like uhhh the guy told me it was a GW lol
But that reminds me, my dad needs towels for fathers Day!

That looks darn good, for your first time...however, the towel in the reflection of the door looks suspiciously like it's not a microfiber....if you are using anything but microfiber for anything, get rid of it and use microfiber, it will make a difference. Also, the car looks great, and the next time you detail it, it will come out looking even better, but a nice job and it does look good!
The towel hanging by the handle on the cart? That's a Adams great white
Thanks guys, had to get some pictures with my cheap point and shoot. Can't wait for my buddy to come do some with his fancy camera, he wants to do some long exposure shots!

Hello cleaning people!
Last weekend I took it upon my self to do my first machine polish, I've always enjoyed washing and caring for my cars... but I've never had the courage to use a machine. It was fun and different, but still took a lot of time.
Steps taken;
Wash
Clay
Wash
Machine Polish
Machine Sealant
Glaze
Wax
I didn't get perfect, and I didn't expect to.
I used Adam's SSR, SHR, and FMP. I didn't remove 100% defects, the evil light bulb in the sky will always remind me how much I suck. Dang black paint!
But it helped... a ton!
Products used:
Adam's Shampoo
******* Clay / ******* Detail Spray
Adam's SSR, SHR, FMP, and MSS
Adam's Brilliant Glaze
************** Paste Wax
Adam's Detail Spray
Bud Light
SSR was very time consuming with the porter cable, but I'd rather be safe than sorry! MSS went on so simple, and came off almost just as simple. After 24 hours, I was excited to use my first "cheater", Brilliant Glaze. I was very worried it would be a complete b&@^#)$% to get off, but surprisingly it came right off! Of course, some double soft MF towels made all this very easy!

I have 2 kinds of overhead bulbs in my garage. Under the regular incandescent, my paint looks flawless. Under the halogen, the same exact area looks like crap. and no matter how much I polish it, it looks no better.
I've thought about just swapping out the hal's for all incan's. Would that count as successful paint correction?
Hahahaha

COOL! Whats the yellow thing in Adam's hand in the shot with the Vert C2?
Looks like tape from my phone screen.
Cool pictures, nice cars!
