I would try adding paint to see how that does, before removing 'lots' (relatively) of paint with wetsanding.
Will try to add more paint tonight and will post more pictures from the result.

Maybe a better job with the touch up paint. It should be pretty smooth by now and be able to get a good fill with the touch up.
Will try that. So you don't suggest sanding it?

Hey everyone,
Some one hit my bumper last night in a parking and the type of OCD I am about my car, I haven't been able to sleep yet lol I filled the scratch with touch up paint, and then used SSR, SHR, and Fine Machine Polish after. The picture attached is the result after all of these, Do you think I can make it any better? Maybe sanding? Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thanks!

AW e46 M3 looks great, I love it. As I mentioned in my thread, if I find a clean one, I will add it my collection. I still love my AW e92 M3 and its V8 engine, but e46 M3 is still one of the best BMW designs ever. I do not like the new F10 and F30 BMW design, the interior feels so cheap as well.

slick lookin M3, there are a few running around my campus that like to mess with my jeep . Good work and love all the CF accents!
Thanks a lot man! I think CF parts look great with white cars. BTW if I ever buy a SUV, it will be definitely a Jeep. I have been a fan of them since I was a kid.
nice job! Totally agree with your statement about the flexThanks! Dude, without Flex, there would be NO WAY to get this result.
Great job! I can't ever imagine paying somebody that much money to do mine knowing what you can achieve with a little Adam's love. Glad you made the effort to take care of it yourself.Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
Thanks. Yeah, I should say that I got pretty tired when I was working on my car, but it definitely paid off.
Nice job! Sweet looking M3.Thanks!
Haha yeah. Usually we have enough snow in Canada that we don't need to imagine to see it lol
Looks great! Im trying to convince a friend of mines brother to let me do his m3. Similar to yours' date=' but has full eisenmann race exhaust!! So loud!! I love itPosts like this make me regret my PC purchase, I want a flex!!
Anybody want to trade? [/quote']
Haha, most M3 drivers don't let anyone touch their car, we are kind of crazy lol But if I were you, I would definitely upgrade to Flex.
Nice job. I love your car by the way! Thanks! She is my baby.
Beautiful car and nice work! This is my dream car. I owned an E46 330 for about 4 years and it's still the best car i've ever owed.I am coming from an e46 330xi as well. Had to work hard and save for 2 years to afford this car.
Good job man, you help me make up my mind, since i have an e46 AW m3. I was gunna go pc, but because of your post, i'm going flex.Dude, e46 AW M3s are soooooo beautiful, I would love to own one of them! I will definitely buy one in future if I can find a clean manual one (and obviously if I have enough money)

So I used to always pay $400 - $500 to get my car detailed at a shop. I was watching YouTube videos one day and saw couple of JunkMan's videos about how to fix swirls and everything. That's how I joined here and ordered the Porter Cable Kit. I tried it and had a really hard time to remove any swirl from my car. Apparently BMW's Alpine White has a really hard clear coat. Contacted Dexter and he was so helpful and let me exchange my kit to Adam's Complete Flex XC 3401 VRG Polisher Kit, and wow, what a difference Flex can make. I respect JunkMan's opinion, but I cannot agree with him in one topic: starting with PC because Flex is really hard to control and not good for people who are new in detailing car. I actually enjoyed Flex way more, I think it is way more user friendly, more quiet, easier to handle, and gives you WAY better and quicker result. Anyway, I spent around 15-16 hours on my car and I am extremely happy with the result.

Just added more paint to it. Going to leave it for few hours to heal. Since I was inside, took a picture with the flash on.

Any suggestion to make it better?
