I've worked on a few Vetts and BMW's with the PC. The paint wasn't perfect to me and I know I could've done more, but the customers were very happy. I would try the 4" focus pads on it and see what you end up with. Good luck.

4" focus pads on the PC or drill?

Also try backing your speed down a little... 6 isn't always necessary... if you notice artifacts after working it may be the speed is too high for your particular paint. Try speed 5 instead.
I'll try that as well

Theres your problem right there.... WAY over working the products. A pass shouldn't take 2-3 minutes if you're working 1 panel at speed 6. The products simply don't have that long of a work time.
this was after I attempted to correct the paint with less than 2-3 minutes per pass for three times. I didn't see any difference so I applied as much pressure and went very thorough until it was "flashing" on my 4th time for 2-3 minutes. I should have been more clear.
I'll have it another go but with less time. I'm definitely not over applying (using 2 pea sized drops like junkman did) I'll come back with some pictures if I can.

I'm having a similar issue on my black lotus. It's not as bad as the vette's picture, but I can't seem to get the scratches out that I CAN'T feel on my fingernails. I've stripped everything and watched the tutorial videos more than 11 times to make sure I'm using the same technique.
I am, however, using a porter cable. Despite this, I've gone over it 4 times (about 2-3 minutes each pass with the pad; setting 6) and still not impressed with the results of the 3 step system.

hmm okay. I know that the video says that they don't recommend covering the whole car with 4" drill, but I do have the focus pads on the way.
I got burnt out after 3 days of detailing so I just decided to seal it up and put glaze and wax for now. In about 2 months or so I'll strip everything down and have at it again.
