  1. I have my supply of Adam's products, but have yet to get a weekend free to do a complete detail of the car. My question is will I gain more gloss with BSG vs DS if my base polish is Mother's Cannuba. I've got a show on Sunday and again will not have time to remove the Mother's and apply Adams

  2. 1. Always remove the residue after each step: If you don't, you'll end up getting results that you weren't expecting (heavier swirls still there after final polishing, for instance))

I don't know enough to dispute what you're saying, but on the "Gen 2" video, one of his points was that you don't have to remove after each step.

    Am I missing something here?

  3. It's all my fault!!!!!:willy:

I started the thread that was referred to on the CF. I wasn't trying to start a flame-war or anything; just wanted comparative information from a wide range of detail fanatics. I knew that on the forum a lot of different products had been used and I thought that I'd get some good information. Though I realize Zaino is probably the product of choice, I choose not to use it...all those different combinations and measuring drops of product when using is not how I want to spend a detailing weekend. As I stated in the thread, I just wanted to know about....

    1. not having to remove product residue after each step (per Gen 2 vid)

    2. not using a glaze prior to wax and if I want to use a glaze, can I?

The new offering from Adams was mentioned and I'd really like more information on. Could anyone "leak" me any info on the new paste wax? I promise to keep any secret recipies and such:D
