Well AJ, I was finally able to get a PC and when I did I ordered the Junkman's Paint Correction Kit. Since you worked 3 days on my hood at the Ford Nats in Carlisle last year I have to do the rest of the car. Thanks for the vids and so far its been real easy liked you showed me last June. This year I'll be at Carlisle, but you won't need to demo my Stang.

Ok I finally uploaded my pics and here are a few. A special thanks to AJ and Steve, who not only helped out me and my stang, but sold a lot of product to my friends at the Bad Pony Club.
-
Lol, he finished the other side of the hood. The scratches are all gone. Steve VRT'd half my vinyl top today, but thats as far as they got in 2 days. The Junkman takes his time to do it right.I can't wait :pc::pc: -
Humster,
What have you been doing to your car to get all those scratches??
Looks like Junkman to the rescue!!
I hope the sunshine I sent for PA today has arrived and you all have a fantastic day!!
I wish I was there. I am jealous.
I wish I knew how the scratches got there. It looks like a brillo pad was used on the front edge of the hood. AJ and Steve are keeping the car again tomorrow to finish it up. Junkman sure made the hood shine. I have the best hood in Carlisle.
-
Yep, my car is locked up in the Adam's tent so the junkman can finish shining up my hood.
-
The Junkman worked on my Stang all day. It was raining, but we got the front end under the tent to work on my hood. Lots on scratches to demo on. Tomorrow's weather should be better.

I have a vinyl vert top and the VRT makes it shine.

That most people on this forum have a really great sense of humor, and I like that!
That what makes this forum a very cool place to hang out.
I wonder if it's from smelling the products though?
I agree, but at least they smell good

Not Me -- I love winter -- I just wish we'd get a good snowfall here before it's gone. The winters in the Mid-Atlantic have been pretty mild for the last few years.
Personally, I think a good 10-14" snowfall once in a while is a good thing... it helps the world slow down, gives you something beautiful to look at, and forces people to spend time around the home and family. What's not to like about that?
I'd love to stay home during a snow fall like that, but I still have to go to work in that stuff in the stang. As a kid I loved them, now I like the mild winter.

I don't as of yet, but I can change that. I bought it 12 years ago when I was in college. Thought I could use it as a DD. I was wrong. The tranny went out 3 months into driving it and its been sitting in the garage ever since. Its slowly going through a resto project. It needs a paint job bad. The idiot who had it before me didn't use primer when he painted it so its chipping off to the bare metal. We have added some more power and a dual exhaust which makes the 289 V8 growl. I might eventually get it done.

I wondered why when I brought out my yellow one at Carlisle last year The Adam's detailers Brad and Dale looked like they saw a ghost.
-
Its been a mild winter here in Pa, but the road salt does not help my Stang. My 65 stang is the garage queen.
Spring starts Car Show season and Softball season so I can't wait.

I've been 25 for the last 7 years.

My wife is a sucker sometimes and got a set at Wal-Mart. They will never leave the kitchen.

I got pulled over for having the tinted covers on my 99 Mustang GT, while leaving Carlisle one year. $80 fine and a nice lecture on how they were illegal on PA roads. When I lived in Cali I bought them again and no problems at all. Depends on your state.
-
Have you detailed it yet ? Sounds like it needs to be clayed :D:D
It needs some detail spray for sure. Someone keeps putting fingerprints on it. lol
-
I've seen those before. I am not sure how easy it is to use or how comfortable it would be...
Let me know when you find out.
Finally got the mouse. It looks great. Headlight light up when you click the mouse buttons. Ergonomically it is ok. The rear deck lid is not smooth, but I like it.

I have two 37" Vizio's love them both. I just bought one for the wife for x-mas. Sam's Club or Costco have great prices on these. And both of them fit (in the box) in the back of my Mustang Vert.

Welcome Melissa, glad you are here.

I've been streaming Netflix through my PS3 for about 6 months now and I love it. I was able to catch up on every season of LOST before the finale.
