  1. Yeah. I know about them and trust them. I posted in new member because it has been forever since I've been on the forum and didn't know where to post the request for the local guy. I've detailed before on my vehicles and on others, I just had too much happening currently and would like to find someone I can trust to do it right on the new car when I don't have the time to mess with it. Thanks for the heads up on European.

No problem! Nice truck by the way! Also let me know when your restocked, it would be a lot closer drive rather then going to Tempe if I'm ever in a pinch.

  2. I'm in buckeye but have no where near the knowledge to start doing paint corrections at this moment. However the only company I would let touch my truck is European detail in Scottsdale. I believe they will use Adams you just need to request it. Other then that I usually get my orders shipped to me in 2-3 days depending on how busy the shipping department is. Also you posted in new member check in so I will say :welcomebanner::thumbsup:

  3. If you will not have time to do the whole vehicle, do a section at a time. maybe do the hood and roof, then next day or when ever correct a different part next time. If you are driving the vehicle out and around,, I would do a 2 bucket wash prior to working on paint. If it is just sitting garage, then I would hit it with the WW.

Here is a idea I did on car for my friend.. I strip wash entire car. clayed it, Polished the hood and front of car. applied BG and Americana to entire car. Next time I will polish a different part of it. At least I got the clay job done and paint was clean and the entire car looked alot better then it did.... I will wash entire car again when he brings it back to me. But I will only have to strip the part I am going to polish with IPA. Do what you can when you can. Do not try to do the entire car and make it a rush job. You will hate it..

    Hope that helps..

Great info! thanks for the tips!

  4. Your on the right track now. Strip wash, hit with IPA, polish then IPA again before sealant and wax. Remember to take your time, do not get into a rush. That is when you will start missing up. If you have to do one or 2 panels a day do it that way. First time I did it, tried doing the whole car in one day and that was starting at like 2pm. I was wore out and did not get the results I wanted. Granted the car was glowing, but nothing like she could of.

Watch the videos over and over, and ask all questions you need. :patriot:

What if the Car or truck you are correcting is you only means of getting around? Say you need to go some where if you don't finish working on it the first day, when you are ready to work on it again do you hit it with some ww before continuing? Or what is the proper prep before starting again?

  5. Can I wash Adams mf towels with others towels? I have the cheepy mf towels I used on glass, wheels ect until my other orders show up, but can I wash together? Or do you separate load like wax and polish rags then glass and wheel rags together? Just wanna make sure I don't destroy these towels first wash.

  6. Hope no one is annoyed with all my pictures. I just really enjoy sharing what I've been working on. I've so busy you would think detailing was my full time job.

Anyway here's the Hyundai Genesis I polished up today. I was fixing some swirls installed by a "professional" detail shop. Some Adam's productstook care of those.

Looks great. What products and steps was this?

  7. Definitely rotary holograms there... good job capturing that b/c its not always easy to photograph. You'll definitely need to machine polish to fix those... by hand you're just not going to be able to impart enough change to remove those.

So would you say swirl & haze or try fine machine polish?
