I have a question regarding pad brushes. Do i have to buy an adams pad brush or can i use ANY soft/med brush?
-
Nicely done, you can still use the 3 step or go to the 2 and appreciate the time savings. I use the SSH for headlights with my PC, until it is gone anyway.
I'm just going to use it til it's gone I have to do my dads 71 Camaro in a few weeks and that car is HUGE so that should eat some materials

Thanks guys I was amazed myself at the difference. This was a "customers" car. I was nervous using a different product but boy am I glad I did was a little annoyed though after I bought the complete 3 step machine kit and like three weeks later they releases the "new and improved" 2-step polish kit oh well haha

Ok sooo i did this correction back in May but have been super busy and am finally just getting around to taking pictures off my camera.
Here we go.
Overall this took a about 7 hours. Dont mind the rock chips and some of the crap around the emblem on the rear i took the pictures before i gave it a final wax.
Now to do my own car.................
Befores:
here you can start to really see the swirls in on the hatch

That is what I keep saying, :lolsmack: but I take my time with it,,I do not go swirl free, but it looks alot better than it did...
If they want it to look like mine,, swirl free, then I would go more. But as I have said, I am no way a pro at it. If I get it done on the weekend,, then I am ok.
The Mustang I am fixing to do,, 250.00 now. THey want to sell it. So I told them If the car looks a million you get more..
Thats a little better. Hey i just noticed you are in the Villages. a co-worker of mine just retired to there.

You are nuts if you only charge 150 for interior and I'm assuming machine polish? Minimum I would charge is $300.
Edit: you are machine polishing. Your crazy for only charging 150. I am doing a correction on a black 2009 VW Rabbit the 29th of June he had it done once for 700. I am charging 300 he's was ecstatic. I understand stand people don't wanna pay but you are robbing yourself at that point

Please just make sure you know what you're doing prior to going through with a detail for someone, especially if they are paying. A fender on a new Escalade will most likey cost more than $500 to strip and paint if you make a mistake. If you started a business, incorporate it because having one of your 'clients' take your assets because you failed to protect yourself can really do some damage.
Are you insured? I say because I don't want to see someone come back to this forum trying to say Adam's is responsible because your lack of knowledge. People do crazy things when it comes to money or hurting they're property even if its accidental or you're a friend...again just trying to start anything, but to me it seems like the risk may be to high
I understand this completely. But I make sure when I do a job to tell them straight out I am no professional. I do it as a hobby to make extra $$$

I did that Sunday was just a quick wash, wax, interior but man am I sunburnt. The 18th I have a black Lexus SUV I'm correcting with my PC. Kit I ordered. What's nice about that its my mothers neighbor.

I'm in the same boat as you I have people coming out of the wood work want to get their car detailed/waxed/corrected. Not really complaining cause with a baby on the way the extra $$ is welcomed. But I don't have a garage so I have to drive 1/2 hour to use my parents.

2009 Toyota Camry didn't have my phone or camera for pictures

Thanks for the welcome! Just got back from a mobile detail on a co-workers car
-
Wow, I don't understand how someone can let their car get to that point. Maybe it's just me idk. I have to wash my car 1 a week at least.

Hello!!!! My names Matt I live in Albany,NY I just placed my first order with Adams. I purchased the complete machine polish kit with the PC 7424XP. I am not new to detailing but I am new to Adams products. Right now I am detailing on the side to make some extra money this summer before my daughter gets here. I have a paint correction coming up on the 18th that I am going to use the PC on. If anyone has any tips or suggestions when using the PC let me know. I currently also own a Makita rotary, Dewalt rotary and a Cheapy Craftsman polisher.
Look forward to using Adams products!
How safe is this?
