PVD Wheel Finish

Ok guys I am picking up a new set of wheels next week and I want to make sure they're protected and stay looking great but the problem is I don't know what products I should be using. Also is PVD clear coated? I know it's a chrome like finish so are they not as durable compared to chrome or the like?

Make a call to the manufacturer to see if they are cleared, etc.

 

Until you know how they prepared them, we can't give you an accurate answer on what to use. Please also post a picture of said wheel.

I just can't bring myself to put a set of wheels on a vehicle other then chrome. I went with the PVD chrome finished Novakanes. I'm excited to get them on, can't wait till Tuesday! I am sure they're clearcoated so how do I go about this?

Clean with Green Wheel Cleaner, shine with Metal Polish #2, protect with QS.

I always thought that you use Quick Sealant before Brilliant Glaze?

Well I finally got some info from BMF, these are clear coated. Now the problem is I believe the installers wiped them when they were dry and now have very faint surface scratches. What's the bet way to help this?

Revive by hand or if clear coated you can polish with 4 inch focus on a drill. Then quick sealant.
