I recently purchased a Ryobi pressure washer and paired it with an MTM foam cannon. I tried it out for the first time yesterday and had a few issues.
When I pulled the trigger, I got a decent foam mixture but it wasn't at full pressure. It was basically the equivalent of my foam gun. After about a minute of holding down the trigger, the pressure boosted and it seemed to work as designed. As soon as I released the trigger and pulled it again, I lost pressure.
This is the pressure washer:

I have a Camaro ZL1 which is pretty bad for break dust. I'm looking to see if anyone has any advice for which product to use for protecting wheels. I have tried Quick Sealant in the past but I was wondering if anyone had any experience using the H2O Guard and Gloss on their wheels. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I figured if Dawn didn't get it out, nothing would.

I notice that after cleaning my Hex Grips after using them to apply SVRT they still have a greasy film on them. I have tried pre-soaking them in Dawn prior to cleaning them by hand with APC.
Does anyone have any tips for getting all of the residue out of them?

Did you use a DA polisher prior to finishing up? The drill will leave halograms that you'll want to remove first. Also, VRT is best for non-painted, porous trim. Protect that surface with a wax like Buttery or Americana... Or perhaps some AQS. It looks WAY better! Good job with the save! I have an SS, I'd be crying if I hit a cone so I could imagine if I hit one with my ZL1!
No problems using the VRT since it is plastic not painted. Believe me I was pissed when I hit it!! Luckily there wasn't more damage. I should also add that I clayed it first before polishing.

Hello-
This morning I hit a traffic cone getting off the highway that had falleen off of a truck. I couldn't swerve out of the way to avoid it in time and it hit the front bumper on my ZL1. Luckily, the paint was not damaged but there are 2-3 scuff marks on the plastic trim. I washed the car hoping they were just on the surface and would come out but no such luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to remove them? Thanks in advance for your help.

Interesting. I'll give that a try next time. The only other possibility I can think off is that the pressure washer is only a 1.2 gpm where MTM recommends a 1.4 gpm minimum.
