  1. Did a full detail on my G8 for Pontiac Adventures. Last weekend at Wisconsin Dells. My detail involved clay bar, severe swirl remover, swirl & haze remover, fine machine polish, Paint Sealant, Brilliant Glaze and Lastly Americana Wax. Very happy how it turned out. At the end of the weekend, I won best of class for the base G8 class. Couldn't have done it without Adams.
  2. It did a small bit nothing crazy at all. I was careful when I got to that area not to use a ton of pressure and really go to town on it. Hit it lightly with the Porter Cable and hand polish it from there. The rest of the areas I used the Porter Cable with a lot more pressure.
  3. Ordered a Metal Polishing Kit for my Porter Cable a week ago, and thought I would give it a shot on my snowmobile since I got it out of storage. I am very happy with the out come. Before Left Side- Before Right Side- After Left Side- After Right Side- After Exhaust Pipe- Thanks Adam's for the great product you sell.

  5. So I have a Craftsman tool chest in my garage that I have been proud of every time I open a drawer seeing Made in the USA or Forged in the USA on all the Craftsman hand tools. So this past Black Friday I seen in the Sears ad they had a door buster deal on a Craftsman 26pc. combination wrench set for $39.99 usually $74.99, so I picked one up. Today I had some time to go through the wrenches and put them away in the tool chest. As I was doing that I noticed something different with the engraving on them so I grabbed an existing wrench and right away I noticed the new wrenches said no where on them about USA, the old ones said right on them Forged in the USA. I then looked on the plastic case they came in and on the back sticker there were the evil words Made in China. I know in the past a lot of the plastic cases would say Case Made in China, Tools Made in the USA. I am very disappointed that Sears/Craftsman has decided to go this route. I am really leaning to returning the set just because of that reason. They still say lifetime warranty on them. So Im just wondering what you guys think of this happening and if I should return them to Sears? I do know know that Craftsman wont be my first choice for tools now. What brand of tools would you guys recommend that are still made in the USA and are at a decent price?
  6. So I bought the Complete Porter Cable Kit and added the Brilliant Glaze to it. I preformed all the steps on my 08 Pontiac G8 about 2 weeks ago and I am so impressed how the car turned out. It took probably 98% of the swirl marks out and the paint looks more metallic and glossy wet then ever before. As these two weeks have gone by a light coat of dust has got on it. Now I am curious what is recommended how to maintain the finish on the car. Do I just do a wash and wax. Or a polish, sealant, glaze. Just trying to figure out the best steps to maintain the finish. If you have any questions let me know. Here is a list of the steps I did from my kit: Wash Clay Bar Sever Swirl Remover Swirl and Haze Remover Polish Sealant Glaze Wax (Meguiars Gold Class) Still need to buy the Americana Wax.
