Ceramic Wheel Coating - Multiple Coats?

Would it be at all beneficial or would it be a waste of product to apply 2 coats of Ceramic Wheel Coating to new wheels?

 

Would there be a process to do this if it was beneficial? Apply ceramic coating after prep, let cure 24 hours, reapply ceramic coating? Wait 24 hours to cure again, apply boost?

 

Probably a waste?

 

Any input?

"There is no benefit to layering an additional coat of Wheel Coating, as it will not change the hardness factor..."

I can't answer your question directly because I haven't used the Wheel Coating, but I can tell you layering multiple coats of waxes, glazes, etc., can reach a point of diminishing returns. I wonder of more than 1 coat would diminish returns with a ceramic coating then? Is less certainly more in this case, or can I apply 2 coats for maximum protection?

I've read on other forums when you start layering the coatings sometime fail, it better to do one solid coat.
