0 TexWalker
Yes, detail spray can be used to no ill effect. It will add a quick gloss/shine and works awesome as a drying aid. Ceramic boost is a product you add periodically to extend the life of the ceramic coating.

0 TexWalker
The wax won’t have any effect on the ceramic coat and will provide better gloss. The only down side is that water will bead a little less, but have no lasting issues. Well worth the better appearance, in my opinion

0 Markrob
Since the detailing spray has some wax in it, is there a more suitable detailing spray that contains no wax? Edited October 7, 2017 by Markrob

0 blcksilv08
Since the detailing spray has some wax in it, is there a more suitable detailing spray that contains no wax?For quick a quick wipe down I would use waterless wash instead of a detail spray. Most detail sprays are going to have some type of carnauba in them that is there to add gloss and a small amount of protection but not hydrophobic like you normally see on a ceramic coating. Seeing the car is coated it should be about at it's peak in terms of gloss in my opinion but topping it with Boost every once in a while can add to the wow factor and have lasting results. In short, I use waterless wash for wipe down and for added gloss Boost every so often on coated cars. Hope this helps.
0 swexlin
I use the Matte Detailer on my CQuartz coated Viper. Works wonderfully for a quick clean up. Ceramic Boost periodically. I use Ceramic Boost as a stand-alone on my non-coated Ram. I use both Adam's Detail Spray, and Optimum Detail Spray, both products have gloss enhancers, with no ill effects, and the truck looks great. 0 Markrob
Do you recommend Adam's waterless wash or rinseless wash for this purpose. Or can either one be used for detailing a car that has been ceramic pro'd?
0 stirthepot
Since the detailing spray has some wax in it, is there a more suitable detailing spray that contains no wax? Boost is designed to work with it, not detail spray. Or can either one be used for detailing a car that has been ceramic pro'd? Rinseless that has been diluted to a waterless wash solution can be used or Waterless wash as it comes will work great. Waterless won't necessarily ADD shine but it will make the surface clean to reveal the shine from the coating and Boost. Normal procedure for me on a coated car is, wipe down with Waterless/Rinseless and every couple months wipe down the car with Boost after the Waterless TexWalker
0 TexWalker
Think about it this way. Most of us use detail spray as a drying aid or a quick coating to make the car pop. Boost is to a coated car like the guard and gloss is to one that has LPS If you’re thinking of using a detail spray as a drying aid or waterless wash, feel free. Or use the waterless wash or rinseless. DONT use boost to clean the car of dust or dirt, it does NOT have the lubricants in it for that. If you are referring to the way detail spray makes it look, Use detail spray or ceramic boost. Products do different things. Detail spray works as a waterless wash with added wax. Waterless wash is just that. Ceramic boost is a coating to BOOST the ceramic coating Edited October 7, 2017 by TexWalker
0 stirthepot
"Detail spray works as a waterless wash with added wax" that is not correct. detail spray is NOT a cleaner, waterless wash is. OP, use Boost on your coated car. no need for a drying aid now that its coated. use boost as that's what it is for.
