Thanks, I feel kinda stupid now. I didn't even think about that. That's a simple fix.

I applied qs to my car this morning and thought all was great. Drive for a few hrs come back and I go to do a WW on the car and now that the sun is gone I can see a ton of spots I missed taking off the QS. It's been in the sun all day and need to know how I should go about fixing this. Do I need to do a complete alcohol wash or just go over it with some revive polish? Please help me...lol

Dammit! Both of the clinics in March and April are on the 1 of the 2 Saturdays I work a month. Any idea if there will be more clinics during the summertime?

I'm still learning new stuff every day. So I polished and waxed my car today. I now have read that you should do a wipe down of the whole car with DS after. Well I ran out of DS ( I have maybe 3-4 squirts left in bottle), can/should I just add some bottled water to the bottle (enough to do the car)? Also, I can't do it till morning cause I just found out about it. Or is it too little too late?

Can I use Simple Green? It's all I got right now?

Well, I just looked a little further and found my answer. People are using APC and warm water in the sink. If I don't have any APC but have Simple Green can that be used? Should I just spray the pad down with SG and rinse away?

Just finished up my first detail on my car! 5 1/2 hrs....my body ahces(hand detail) ...lol! I am 80-85% satisfied with my work. Hopefully I will get better as I move forward . Now to the question, how do you clean the applicator pads? Just run them under water to get the stuff out. Do you need to wash them out at all? The MF towels, I didn't mark them before I used them (SHR..RP..BW) after they have been cleaned I assume it will be ok to use them without know which one was used for what before? Next time I will mark each one. Thanks to all you guys and gals who have provided great info on learning to do this myself and actually enjoying seeing the final results
