Announcement on Gen 2 pad system.

bigred vette

Question

For those of you with problems such as having the pad flying off during operation. The pad needs to be PERFECTLY centered. If you put it off center, it comes off real easy. The faster the speed, the quicker it loosens and disconnects, resulting in your pad flying across the room or down the street. You absolutely have to have that thing dead center. To make sure, run your fingers around the edges and push down like you're putting a lid on a coke at Burger King. It should almost snap in place. For any problems please refer to this thread or contact Team@Adamspolishes.com.

Excellent points Brian! Also important: If the polisher is not touching the vehicle, it will start spinning, FAST! Only run the machine while the pad is touching the finish, and touching with enough pressure that it does not spin.

The orbital nature of the PC makes throw pads off when it starts spinning.
