  1. Here are the results of my first detail. Two bucket wash, clay, spot polish, wax (Americana), and detail spray. I love these products. I went ahead and moved beyond the essentials kit and ordered gallon refills of my favorite products - detail spray, deep wheel cleaner, all purpose cleaner, and picked up the waterless system to try out too. Feels good have a solid cleanliness baseline.
  2. Hey everyone! Thanks for the welcomes! I up here in the panhandle (FWB/Destin area).
  3. Since I live in Florida, my buddy told me I am eligible for 2 new windshields each year with my comprehensive collision coverage and all I have to do is express that I feel like I'm not capable of being safe with the state of the windshield. I hesitant to do that because it will more than likely not be OEM glass. His anybody used Safelite before? It really is a distraction at night because the causes a bad glare with oncoming headlights.
  4. Thanks for the advice all. This forum is amazing. Putting in order tonight when I get home. Thank you.
  5. I have a few swirls and scratches in my brand new car's glass windshield. I have not been able to remove them and am disappointed. I have ordered product that starts with a "Z" and ends with an "aino" and am hoping it works. I couldn't find any Adam's products that actually polish glass... Any advice in how I can get these scratches out? They do not catch the fingernail at all, but it's just not going away with anything available in autozone.... Thank you!
  6. Wow thanks to all for your advice!! This forum is a gold mine for me. I'm learning so much. I have the essential car kit on the way and also purchased another bucket, the premium mit, and the leather kit. This weekend I plan to begin my therapy, lol. I will check out he paint after the clay and see if I need to polish. All I will have is the hand polish though. Thanks again for the great advice. I had no idea a brand new vehicle could have such imperfect paint... Blows my mind.
  7. I'm a severe newbie to polishing. In fact, I know absolutely nothing. The question is do I even need to polish my brand new car? When is it appropriate to polish? If I clay and wax only is that a waste of time if I don't polish it while its brand new and doesn't have a bunch of miles yet? Btw, my car is tuxedo black. Thank you!
  8. I'm excited to learn. That's all. Thank you in advance.
