question about rotary buffer first

I have a question about using Adams swirl remover and machine polish with a rotary buffer first and then use the orbital for final finsh.I 'am very experenced with a rotary buffer, just curious about results.I have painted and detailed cars but have seen nasty swirls on black and dark blue cars.Thank you for any input.
