Beautiful weekend so we took a day trip to the shore in the vette. Front end was bug city when we got home. A spray down with the waterless wash and a quick wipe, ALL GONE! Worked great.
The black plastic on the fender wells of my vette are streaked. I have tried all purpose cleaner and VRT. They are still streaked, probably from splash from filling the windshield washer fluid and engine coolant by the former owner. Any suggestions? Otherwise I've been able to update the engine bay and have it looking good.
I'm restoring a vintage Tokheim gas pump. The face plate was dull, discolored, and stained. I used the all purpose cleaner followed by the two step polishing system and they look better than new. Adams products, not just for cars anymore!
OK, your paint is beautiful after two step polishing then wax. You drive 30 miles to the show and need to get off the road dust etc. when you arrive. What do you use? Seems to me detail spray could just push around the contaminants to cause swirls. Dusters could do the same although it seems the most popular. Am I off base? What do you do?
