Leather & Interior Cleaner
- 8:1 - delicate surface interior cleaning
- 3:1 - moderate soiling
- 1:1 - general coated leather cleaning (when no stains are present)
I think this question answers itself but would the 8:1 be a suitable replacement for total interior cleaner? I know I wont have the mate finish but trying to decide if I need to buy a gallon of the total or reduce part of the leather cleaner I just bought. Thanks

Looks like my routine except I'll apply two coats of wax on top of the sealer.

My Americana is about empty and kind of just on the edges. Can it be heated up to get it flat in the container. I also notice it kind of chunky so to speak. Not bad but I'll get large pieces of wax on the applicator. Any cure?
Thanks

I had a single side I used to finish the detail spray at the car show, it worked fine. The towels are pretty new. No need for clay, that paint is slick as snot and never get dirty. I had just applied a coat of Patriots wax but again the single sided worked fine. Ill try washing them and see if it helps.

So if a car is garged and doesnt see the rain a liquid sealer is just fine and theres really no added benifit to it? Im started to feel like Im getting to many products on my cart and which ones are best. Ive got 3 waxes, 3 sealers, 3 details sprays and so on.

I have found that washing a double soft style towel and window style towel together increases static so those are the only ones I seperate. Thats with low dry time (coming out damp) and low heat with 4 dryer balls

Thanks guys, good info to take into consideration for the next job I do.

I did it for a good friend thats a Dr once and I guess word of mouth spread and now its people Ive never meet. I was thinking 200-250 was low but then I dont want to seem like a jerk charging 350. I know I would NEVER pay that, but then I refuse to pay to have just about anything done on my cars that I know I can do and do better then most. Thanks

Ive been getting a few request to detail other peoples cars but am unsure what a good number to put on the cost. I know I had 6 hours in just washing, stripping, correction, and seal the other day on my GTO and I have yet to wax and do the inside. The lattest request is a newer Corvette, a car about the same size as mine so I would guess about the same time and thats if it dosent need clay. So what do you guys think a far cost is, taking into account the cost of the products and time it takes, maybe $200-$250 for 8 hour detail job?

Simple Green is typically pretty good, you do have to get the dilution right and exercise some caution on certain wheel finishes for overspray.
The tires aren't mounted on the wheels yet so Im good there. I know you're not in to promoting or advising on other products here but what ratio of SG would be safe for the tires?

Damn I just saw this post and realized I left a bottle of waterless wash in the garage last night

How's green wheel cleaner for removing the blooming? I have a gallon of it lol. Or even simple green for that mater

Any alternative to APC? Im fresh out and usually like to wait to order a few things at once when a sale comes around vs just one thing

Just got new set of Falkins for the up coming season. What, if anything should I do before I mount the tires and dress with VRT?

Id like to try this polish to remove some scratches under the door handle of my wife's ride. I can send you a UPS label but would like to wait for a break in the weather. Its forecasted to be freezing temps here for a while.
Thanks

COMMON DILUTIONS
Below you'll find just a few suggestions on various dilutions to use your Adam's products at. If you have a dilution ratio you like for a product reply here and we'll add it to the list. The beauty of diluting products is you can find a variety of needs and new solutions for products you may not have thought of before.
- Super VRT
- 1:1 - spray on low gloss tire dressing
- 2:1 - spray on detailer for vinyl soft tops/tonneau covers
- 3:1 - quick detail spray dressing for matte vinyl wrap
Question: Once the VRT is broke down 2-1 for a vinyl tops is it spray able or do you still apply with applicator? Does it run if I was to get caught in the rain after applying it to my top? Im one of the few that actually have a true vinyl top on my GTO. At the 3-1 can it be used for floor mats, or is it slick that my feet will slide? I have factory 72 GTO rubber mats that's Im always trying to keep clean. Everything seems so slick

Just stocking up for spring, so it will just sit in the basement and thaw on its own.
