Mine still gets warm even with the washers. I think its because I'm using such small gauge extension cords.

Thanks Jason, got the new pad. Used it today. I did notice that the old one didn't have a black washer on it. It had like a yellow thing. And the new one has a black one. It seems to be better.

I tried to take photos in the garage. Didn't work, maybe I did fix most of them and they are just getting smaller so the camera won't pick them up lol. I'll try on our next sunny day here in Florida

Thanks Adam. The problem with putting to much pressure on the roof is you can feel it start to cave in. Not much support in the middle of the roof. But I'll do as much again as I can. Do I have to clean the pad before I put the FMP on the orange pad? I made the mistake of already cleaning both pads and its sure takes a while for them to dry. lol Im gonna go try and take some pics now. I might need more light outside. Its about to rain. But I'll try in the garage. Adam, I also sent you an email regarding something else. Thanks

Hello Adam, I just tried some spots today. The roof and the trunk lid. This coming friday I am going to do the whole car. Just used the polish today to try it out. I will get some before and afters then. Actually, I like the SHR. Removed water spots on the trunk lid and roof. Only thing left looks like etchings in the clear. I might not mess with that because I don't want to remove to much clear.

Its a 3 year old mustang that gets garaged, so its not bad. But it does see the elements because its my DD. Light scratches and what I thought was water spots, but look like etching in the clear coat.

If I use the SHR, do I need to follow it up with the Fine machine polish or can I go on to the next steps?

You can tell I'm a noob. I'm sorry I've been asking so many questions. But this site is so helpful. But I finally had a chance to use the PC today. And I don't know if I was expecting to much out of it. My roof has some light scratches. And what looked like water spots. I don't know if they are etched in the clear or what. But I tried both polishes (fine and SHR) and they are still there. But I did use the SHR on my trunk lid and it removed the water spots, and I'm happy about that. But it doesn't seem to remove light scratches. What am I doing wrong? Also, if you use the SHR. Do you have to follow it with the fine machine polish or can you go on to the following steps? And then my PC setting. What should these be set at on the dial, and with light or heavy pressure? SHR and Orange Pad= Fine Machine Polish on white pad= Machine Glaze on black pad= Machine Sealant on black pad= Wax on black pad= Thanks everyone, sooner or later I won't need to ask so many questions.

So by that. I could have saved the money on the SHR? lol Oh well, atleast I have it now

Yes, I just got a PC. I will be using a different companies wet wax because I have a lot left over from my last detail. I just found out about this site and products last week. So I'm good? Whats 1 polishes advantage over the others?

I picked up the SHR and FMP. Should I have got the revive?

Jason, are you talking about the washer that comes attached to the backing plate? If so, then yes. Its on there. I can try to take a little video if you want. It looks like the bolt is a little off center and tilting. When I get home tomorrow I will try to take a picture of the bolt. Unless you know what I mean and I don't need to bother. Let me know Jason, thanks for the response. I'm anxious to get to using my new PC this weekend, with my Adams supplies. lol

Got my pad kit today. Noticed that when you spin the backing pad in the PC. It seems like it wobbles. But when I install the white one that comes w/ the PC it spins flat. If I can describe it, it would look like ~ if looking at it flat. Is it suppoes to be like that. Will it hurt anything. if you look at the bolt sticking out of the bottom of the pad. It seems like its leaning.
