  1. So I called the dealer to ask him to NOT wash the car, and I was too late. It arrived this morning and they "detailed" it straight away... It's a white car so any blemishes should be fairly forgiving yeah? Am I screwed? Should I do the full detail straight away after I pick it up or give it a week or so? Any pros or cons to either? So excited to pick up the new toy:)
  2. Thanks all. Im in Sydney Australia, so we are heading in to our summer down here:) The car will be under a carport when at home (well its basically an enclosed carport on 3 sides but has 1 side open towards the house). So ive just orderd the americana wax, and liquid paint sealant. I already have a clay bar, so ill do the following, sound about right? Wash (high pressure and 2BW) Clay wash liquid sealant wax ?
  3. Hi guys. Really appreciate all of the amazing info on here and ready to buy a whole bunch of Adams products!! I've bought a new Jeep Grand Cherokee limited (white) and I pick it up on Saturday , so I want to put something on it early on (within the first week) so it's most effective. Earlier this year, I had my wife's car done with the professional paint protection (ceramic pro) but keen to save some money and do it myself (while also enjoying it!). Question is, what should I use on it? I'm leaning towards the Americana wax, but should I use a sealant on it first? Or the glaze? Ongoing ill use a high pressure hose with a foam lance (minimal contact) and also the usual clay bar every now and then. Any tips on protecting the car from the start would be appreciated. Cheers G
