  1. Def get the sidekick.

I spray the entire car down with Detail Spray as soon as I bring it into the garage after a 2B wash.  I then dry it with a fresh Great White.

After most of the car is dried I go back with the SideKick and blow out all the crevices to get the hidden drips out.  I usually use a blue waterless wash towel along with the SideKick here.

It usually need another complete Detail Spray wipedown and buff before I'm completely finished but the whole process works fantastic.

Great suggestions, and ones I'll use. Only difference is I have to dry my truck outside because it doesn't fit in my garage.

  2. I'm going to pull the trigger on purchasing a couple great white drying towels, but was wondering, do you guys use quick detailer to prime the towels when using them? Do you spray the towels themselves, or spray directly onto the paint? I would love to buy a metro master blaster, but i'd have a hard time convincing my wife that I spent $350-$400 on a blower to dry our vehicles off LOL

I do think i'm going to buy the metro sidekick though.

  3. Wanted to say hello to everyone. I stumbled onto this fine site recently by way of all things entering a Google search "best microfiber drying towels". I saw Adams polishes and here I am.

Until I bought a BLACK 2013 Ram 1500 a couple of years ago, I was your typical national chain car care products buyer. I really didn't know any better to be honest until I started doing some internet research. Unbelievable how foolish I felt by not only using subpar products, but techniques.

But anyways, it looks like winter has finally loosened it's very tough grip on us here in Southwestern Pa, and I'm just itching to get out there and start doing some detailing of not only my pickup, but my wife's car.

This website is not only very easy to navigate, but very informative. And the products look fantastic. Other sites confuse me with all of the different cars shampoos, quick detailers and waxes. Makes my head spin!

So with that said, I just wanted to say hello to all of you guys and gals, and look forward to discussing what looks like fantastic Adams products, and get some pointers along the way being I'm a detailing newbie :)
