  1. Thanks! Ya it has been a wreck for a long time. Now I don't have to pull a dukes of hazard getting in and out of my car
  2. thanks! ya you can hardly see through it when the sun isn't out.
  3. far from it, we've lived there for 19 years and this is the first time more than one car has been parked in it. Now it holds 3
  4. thought I'd take this opportunity to show off my little project from last week. I did this in 24 hours.... Before: After:
  5. I wish I had another DD, I hate driving my car all the time. I'm sure she will be put to good use. Congrats!
  6. Thanks, yes he asked me the other day about my detiling business on the side then when I told hi he said well, I'll let you off Friday to detail mine. I was a little uneasy at first, but once I saw he was pleased, I wasn't too worried. Thanks, in the sun though you can see some holograms. My mother wants to get a black BMW for her next car, and I told her last night, that I don't know if I could handle detailing it Ya little spelling error whoops Thanks for the compliment and yes I just need to keep working on cars so that I can rack up some experience. I've learned how to do a ton over the past two years, but there's plenty more to learn from more eperience. Hahaha Thanks Thanks for the compliment Ya it was Thanks Like I said, it must take some serious dedication to do it. Of course though, you gotta keep the challenger looking clean
  7. Thanks for the responses! Towels turned out fine from what I saw. Nevertheless, I'll be purchasing new ones soon.
  8. Detailed my boss' car today and let me say, I don't understand how people with black cars keep them looking good (Especially Dylan's SUV). I spent hours on his car and it did not come out as well as I had hoped. He was VERY pleased with it so I guess that's all that matters. I clay barred, put some S&H where it was needed, time machine polished and did two coats of Americanna. I think I should have either done more passes with the white pad or moved up to the orange pad because I did not cut enough to remove several holograms. I was working in a garage and my halogen light went out on me so I didn't see these until I was done and by then the metal was too hot from the sun to work on it. I guess I just need more eperience with black vehicles. Oh well, I'm glad my boss was happy with it.
  9. Thanks for the advice, and I did wash and dry them overnight just to make sure. I'm just going to use them today, then I think I'll order some new ones just to be sure.
  10. anyone? I'm detailing my bosses Cadillac in the morning
  11. Well there was a used dryer sheet in the dryer when I did a load with my towels for wheels and stuff, then I unloaded that and loaded in my microfiber towels for polishing paintwork and ran it through on air dry. When I was unloading it, I noticed there was a dryer sheet all along in the dryer. The thing is it had been used in two dryer cycles so I was wondering if the towels are ruined or do you think all of the fabric softener stuff from the dryer sheet would be gone after two loads.
  12. if there was a dryer sheet left in the dryer from a previous load and I air dried my mf towels are they useless?
  13. Thanks! Thanks for the compliment! Ya, I was searching through Itunes and AC/DC seemed to fit the theme perfectly. The hood badge is a Razorback with "Arkansas" below. I go to the university of Arkansas and am an avid Hogs fan. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks man! I thought the security car would make a nice ending
