  1. I just got a few things today in the MB's that I have a ton of.

    1 Gallon of APC

    1 Gallon Detail Spray

    1 Gallon Blue Car Shampoo

    1 Patriot Wax

Looking to see what is out there. Looking for gallon undercarriage spray,  new wheel cleaner, towels.

Lets see what there is to trade.

  2. Its not that I looking for anything other then soap on the car. With the yellow green tip not standing in one spot I am start foaming the car starting on the top down by the time I got to the other side the container was clear not longer blue and what was coming out was water. I am just looking to get soap on the whole car so that it has some protection from water spots.

I was not sure what other were seeing in foam a car as if that was expected to only get 3/4 of a car done for should I see foam on the whole car before the contain empty of soap.

Thats all. So far I am happy with the foam gun.

  3. So today I got out this morning to wash the car.

With the yellow green tip I went through the container in about half the car.

I stopped and refilled, changed the tip to the orange and it I had about 1/3 of a container left after foaming my Camaro. I will cont. to try different tips as it lasted but the amount of foam on the car was not as much as I would like for washing the car

  4. I did install what I think in the yellow green tip. Mine gun did not have but one tip when I got it, it was a black or brown tip. I called adams and they sent out a pack of tips. That pack only have 15 not 20 tips. Not that I complaining, but I am not sure what 5 tips where missing. I do have a greenish color tip. I think it is the green yellow that is shown on the card. But it could be the yellow tip as I don't have anything to compare it to.

I will give it a try this weekend. I will post tomorrow about how fast it goes through it.

  5. Ok so another question.

I just got my foam gun and went to use it. I watched the video on it already but still have questions about it.

When I used it on a camaro it empty the container before I ready got soap on the whole car.

My question is how long should it take to empty the contain on the gun?

I ready don't think it should be before I walk around my car. I started on the top and worked my way down but by the time I got to the last panel it was mostly water coming out. Not like at soap on the first panels.

    Thanks,

  6. Hi Chris, to restore them, I would first recommend washing them with either our Car Shampoo or Waterless Wash. Next, to bring the deep black look back to them, you could try a diluted version of our Super VRT - half of a bottle of SVRT with the other half distilled water - however, I must caution that this might add a little bit of shine to them rather than a completely matte look. Once you have applied the diluted SVRT, you could then wipe them down with a premium microfiber towel like one of our Single Soft, Double Soft, or Borderless Gray Towels, to knock down some of the shine that may appear with the SVRT.

Edit: An alternative method would be to try our H2O Guard & Gloss. After speaking with Dave (BRZN) last week, he uses HGG on the matte black stripes on his daughter's Camaro, and it did not add any noticeable amount of shine to the stripes.

Thanks for the info. I just got a couple bottles of the H2O Guard & Gloss in the last order of Mystery Boxes. I been wanting to try it.

  7. So it is the weekend and tomorrow I am going to get my 2011 Camaro ready for winter. I have only been using Adams for a few months now and only detailing my own cars for a month. I have not gotten it out of the garage and did a real detail to it.

The strips on it are vinyal and are looking faded. They should be a deep dark matte black. What should I use. how should I proceed to restore them?

    Thanks,
