  1. I may have used less than 1/8th, I guess my main point was that I didn't use very much. Sounds like I did the right thing! Do I need to be worried that I have contaminants under my sealant? Will this just come off as the sealant wears? I also did this outdoors with a breeze... Maybe the claying worked fine but by the time I applied the sealant there was a small amount of dust on the paint? Overall I'm very happy with the results, just paranoid I did something wrong and could be causing damage. I guess it couldn't be worse than how I took care of my last car... running it through the carwash :/
  2. Hello - I just did my first detail this weekend, overall I'm happy with the results, the car looks so good it almost looks fake! I just have a few questions... Here is what I did: Washed the Car with Rinseless - I live in a condo Clayed the entire car using detail spray as lube Applied Liquid Pain Sealant Applied Glass Sealant and cleaned windows /w Adams Glass Cleaner Dressed the rubber with Super VRT Now for a few questions: I did the baggy test after clay baring, the paint was super smooth to touch although with the baggy I can still feel a little "grit" underneath even after clay baring several times. Am I doing something wrong? My car is white so it was very difficult to see how much LPS I was putting on, probably used about 1/8th of the bottle - Is this about right? Appreciate the advice and help! Here are some pics of the finished result:
  3. This thread is turning hilarious. Just wanted to give a quick update: I received the revive polish today and applied to the B-Pillars. No luck, didn't really make much of a difference. I even through some glaze on there, hoping it will fill in, still no difference. At this point I'm thinking I'm either going to replace them and x-pel, buy a machine (nothing like an excuse) and fix the right way, or maybe I'll just leave it alone. Overall it looks great, it's one of those things that only I will ever notice.
  4. Hello - I just got a new Metallic White BMW M3 about 6 weeks ago. I'm new to this whole detailing thing (first post here) and I've just encountered trouble in paradise :/ First some background: I never sealed or waxed the paint since I took delivery of the car (product is on the way). I live in a condo so I have to wash with water-less wash. I use; high quality MF towels to wash and dry, grit guard, etc. I've only washed the car twice. During my last wash I noticed that the painted black trim pieces (between the door windows for example) already have swirls in them (noticeable in direct sun)! My only guess is this is one of those things that just happens without protection (this is my daily driver). The white paint is just about perfect, If I try really hard I can find a little mirco blemish. Best I can tell this is from me trying to rub off contaminants with a MF towel instead of using a clay bar (I'm learning). Long story short; Can I correct these minor swirls with Revive? If I'm able to correct the swirls, will the seal along with glaze and wax prevent this from happening again? Thanks for the help - Tristan
