Thanks guys for the input. I will most likely de-iron/clay/polish the front of the car before the ppc goes on. Will post some pics as soon as I get the car and it cleaned up. Going to be a long few months....

Hi all- Would like to say thanks for all the great info on this forum. Probably the most insightful and helpful group of people in any forum I have ever seen. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a new F80 M3 in Sakhir Orange. Hopefully will have it by late March. Been stocking up on detailing stuff for the last month or so.... I have a bit of OCD with my cars, but have always used stuff from the local auto zone, etc. Decided to move up a bit in quality:) I do have a couple of questions. I included xpel ultimate ppc ( full hood, bumper, fenders, etc) in the purchase price of the car. The dealer plans on having it installed before I take delivery. What do you guys recommend to prep the car before the ppc film is applied? De-iron, clay, revive polish, then seal and wax? Also- for you autocrossers, what do you recommend using to get those pesky cone marks off? Not that I have ever hit one Thanks
