    Facebook group

just curious if anyone knows of any facebook groups? places to buy, sell, trade detailing supplies and tools.
  5. any suggestions on where to look for such products as a fabric sealant and odor eliminator?
  6. I haven't seen anyone have my luck with polishing the film, keep in mind how soft that vinyl is.
  7. In my experience using that type product I can say that it does scratch but you need to realize it is used as a protection for the paint. The newer coatings are a little better than the original ones but you will notice some imperfections.
  8. So if you cant tell by reading the few posts Ive made I am starting up a small detailing business. I am in the process of collecting tools, chemicals, and supplies to make my go at this successful. My question today is what products does everyone offer for odor elimination and fabric protection? I also notice that some of my soon to be competition offers different levels of paint sealing, any suggestions here?
  9. just googled the site, damn nice I must say. This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
  10. I guess you could say we live in the suburbs, not mobile but plan to offer pickup and delivery, most of the local places Ive seen are very expensive for the service they provide, I am capable of complete paint correction as well as equipped with a steam cleaner and extractor, I would like to offer packages, and yes capable of doing interiors.
  11. Hey guys, Ive been doing side detail jobs for friends and family for along time. Ive decided to get serious about doing this as a side business now that I have the garage and time to get more serious about it. Question is what are you guys charging? can someone give me a run down of what you offer and what you charge per service. I am also thinking of offering a referral punch card type deal that if a customer refers 5 new customers they receive a free detail. any input is greatly appreciated.

been detailing for some time now but never tried to do the headlight restoration, anyone have a video or some direction? maybe add this to some of my detail packages.
  13. I am more or less looking for something that I can apply polish with vs using my dewalt that I use when I actually sand and buff
  14. thanks, any idea if they run specials on the cyclo?
  15. Ive never used a cyclo and have contemplated buying one but I was wondering if anyone has another polisher they can suggest or maybe pro vs cons from other brands?
  16. Look into a Chevy Cruze or Malibu in your price range, both great cars and from what we see at the dealership most are having a fair amount of luck with them. Keep in mind when shopping for a car not only the cost but the maintenance costs.
  17. did you buy the kit that amazon has or just the basic one?
  18. Thanks, I'll pickup some goo gone or something similar. that's my fear is ruining my dash.
  19. Looking for some for some suggestions on what to use on my dash, I bought my car with a hideous "monster" tach and they used 3m tape to adhere it to the dash. Now that the tach is gone I need to remove the remaining tape adhesive.
  20. hey guys, Im from Chambersburg just south of Carlisle
  21. Whats going on guys? Im new to the Adams brand been detailing for awhile now and I must say Ive made 3 orders within the last month and I haven't found a product I don't like.
  22. I used the wedge for the first time the other day when I washed my wifes suv and I must say I like it but I agree it does take more pressure to get a clean finish and it does take awhile for it to dry
