  1. Yep absolutely just give it a wipe down with diluted rinseless wash, detail spray, or the ready to use Waterless Wash with an mf towel to wipe down the residue.

That's exactly what I did this weekend to the GT350, and it worked like a charm.  Didn't get much contaminant (didn't expect to), but it did pull some off the hood--the car has been in the garage quite a bit, so there hasn't been too much exposure.

  2. What!!!!!! no way. The Shelby GT350 is my DREAM CAR. That flat plane crank sounds AWESOME!! How is it to drive? Must be an absolute riot!! Awesome car man. You couldn't have made a better choice there. Welcome to Adams, you will love the products and it will give the 350 the shine it deserves!

Thanks.  The car is ridiculous.  The exhaust gets plenty of attention, and I usually keep it below 5K RPMs!  Yesterday, when I was getting gas, a couple of S197s (a 2010 and a 2011) turned around and came over the gas station to check out the car.  The handling is unreal.  The difference between the live axle setup on my '14 and the GT 350 is beyond night and day.  I spent about 3 hours cleaning it up today, and it looks a lot better than it did coming off the showroom floor.  I know that the dealerships in San Antonio have had (and sold) quite a few GT 350s, but when people stop and talk to me, they say that it's the first time they've seen one on the road.  I can't keep it in the garage too much (it's already got about 1600 on it).

  3. Did some work on the car today.  Washed it using the car wash pads (they laid down some serious suds on the car).  Used the VISCO clay bar and applied the liquid paint sealant (used P21S paint cleanser in between since I already had it).  The double-soft microfiber towels are awesome--comfortable to use and quickly removed the sealant.  The invisible undercarriage spray did an awesome job on the front wheel wells.  The super VRT did a great job on the side and chin splitters.  Definitely need some In & Out spray (ordered some tonight).  Didn't get any great pictures since I was worried about the car getting rained on.

  4. +1.  Everything you need to know about caring for vinyl stripes.

    Pics of your GT350, Robert...?

Thanks for the shortcut--great information (I guess I could have dug a little deeper in the forums and found it!).  I plan on doing some serious work on the GT350 this weekend (depending on how the weather goes).  Once I get it cleaned up, I can post some pics.

  5. I am trying to find out the recommended way to take care of vinyl stripes. My GT 350 has white vinyl stripes. Currently, I just wash them (carefully), but I want to know if there is any product that is recommended to help protect them? I have read that wax might not be a good thing to do. Any suggestions?

  6. Hello everyone!

I am a recent "convert" to Adam's products, and I look forward to picking up some detailing tips to use on my two Mustangs (2014 GT and 2016 GT 350).  Not getting much sun to work on the cars right now (raining just about every day, so far).  But I'm getting ready for next sunny day with my Adam's gear lined up in the garage and ready to go!
